Cowboys through and through, don't wanna know abut repairs, but by god once they get you out of a property..the workmen are in there the day after..doin all the jobs you requested time ago..jst so they can make a quick buck..surprised they haven't had their licence took off them before now tbh...

I moved in to one of their properties last July after a marital break up and was very wary of moving back to the world of letting. I find the staff to be pretty helpful so far. I have had to ring a couple of times about 1 or 2 things but I presume that\'s because it was in a transition period between old and new landlords. But I am happy with the service they have provided so far and will probably be renting from them for the forseeable future and probably beyond....

I first came into contact with Anglo Homes as a tenant, at a flat in Fallowfield. I lived in this flat for a couple of years and had a selection of regular issues that needed resolving. The team at Anglo were always highly professional and courteous, dealing with each issue quickly and effectively. The staff member doing the viewing was delightful, but more than offset by the rudeness of other staff once you actually try to do the paperwork and dare to ask them any questions about the flat and lease agreement. Prepare to be met with and aggressive behavior and little interest. Trying to get them to acknowledge any problems or issues with the property is a mission in itself, let alone getting any commitments on when things will be fixed. issues on Day 1 will still be there months later a...

What agent could do to change your mind?
-- Some staff could adjust their attitude to be less patronising and rude -- They could acknowledge it when you tell them about problems -- They could fix the said problems rather than ignore them

I concur with other reviews of this letting agency. I have been a tenant in a large property they manage in the Whalley Range area of Manchester for just over 3 years and I have had continuous problems with them since day 1. I have found communication with the staff in their office nothing short of rude, arrogant and terrible. This agency appears to have zero knowledge of good customer service. They accuse you of lying, claim workmen have been round to \'fix\' things when they haven\'t, frequently lose your contact details, claim they have called you back about something when they havent and seem to think it is reasonable for you to have no hot water or heating for 4 days. Anglo seemed to function as a shield to prevent us directly contacting our landlord. Every request we made had to be passed through them, and they were not quick about doing it. The incident that finally made us move was when our toilet began to leak through the ceiling. This happened at the weekend and we had no out of hours number for them (we subsequently asked but they would not tell us it), the house stank and we had to stay at a friends. What agent could do to change your mind?
The agent should have had our interests in mind as well as those of the landlord. They should also have made sure we had an emergency contact number, and under no circumstances should have refused to give it to us when asked. There should also be a minimum standard to which the house was furnished and maintained.
