Do not rent any property from this people, the worst letting agency I have ever experienced and It's a pity I didn't read the reviews before signing a contract with them. First they put a price for a property in an online advert and then they change it to a more expensive price without telling you and excusing that it was a mistake. Then they ask you to pay them the full amount before showing you a contract. I have to send them hundred of emails asking wheter the deposit is protected. If you do...

We have scoured our files in order to locate a Tomas who apparently says he rented a property from us. We would very much appreciate his full name and a copy of the tenancy agreement he signed along with the Landlord and ourselves as the agent. To malign, slander or to misrepresent true facts is libellous. If this gentlemen is genuine, true and honest I will be more than happy to investigate his complaint without prejudice. I have my doubts as we cant locate him in our database of registered te....

I also had the misfortune of dealing with Stephen Jones! RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and NOT competent at all! This can also be related to all other staff members! If you really want to rent a property through that agency read the contract REALLY REALLY carefully! You might end up signing a contract which is completely different to what you have agreed on!...

@ Ian. This post was not made in order to receive a response from you as a company nor to answer to any of my concerns. This post was made to make people aware to be extremely careful when renting through Amber & Co! Again - read your contract really carefully if you really want to use this agent!....

Probably the worst agents i have worked with. Do not pay rent on time Do not notify me of any importance i.e if my rent has not been in my account 10 days after its due date i would call and ask why, after having the response of apologies the accountant has been away or the tenants have not paid their rent. I had to call to find out, not to mention the amount of emails having to be sent. Arrogant towards business Did not send of the tenants deposit registration certificate which cause a feu...

What agent could do to change your mind?
Smile Be more supportive towards situations Take responsibility for the property i have handed over to them PAY MY RENT ON TIME. Register deposits.
Comment on agent fees
I went with Winkworth and they got me lovely tenants within less than a week which paid £1400. They over valued my property which i thought was a tad extreme myself for a one bedroom + study room (not a 2 bedroom as they were trying to market it at)

These agents are cowboys. I made an offer on a flat and went through the process. Then out of nowhere I was speaking to an admin person who told me I was not the one purchasing it. They accepted a higher offer without telling me several weeks ago. After many phone calls somebody got back 3 day later. Ray said well sorry but if you don\'t like it take us to court. BUYER BEWARE!...

What an embarrassment. Our landlord is currently using Amber&Co to let out our property as we are leaving at the end of the month. They have been inconsiderate and poor at communicating from the start. The first time they visited, they let themselves in at 9am on a Saturday and showed 4 people around our flat whilst we were asleep - we were unaware that they were coming. I only found out about this when my housemates told me afterwards. After asking them to give us notice on multiple occa...

Amber & Co operate a policy of notifying existing tenants of our intended visit the DAY BEFORE. Some Agents use the term 24 hours notice, but unfortunately now and again we come across tenants who insist on PRECISELY TWENTY FOUR HOURS notice. The tenants who wrote this review (Ken & Paul) were upset because although our agency informed them the DAY BEFORE of our intended visit, we only actually gave them 23 hours and 27 mins notice, not the full 24 hours... The young man in quest....

I have had the misfortune of dealing with Stephen Jones from Amber and Co. Shepherds Bush. My landlord is trying to breach our tenancy agreement and is using Amber and Co. as his new Real Estate Agency. Stephen Jones was attempting to illegally sign my house mates and I up to a tenancy agreement for a house we have already lived in for quite some time. I have spoken with a housing support agency in regards to his unlawful actions and was strongly recommended to use a Tenancy Relations Officer fr...

What agent could do to change your mind?
The agent should be abiding by housing laws instead of trying to breach them. Intimidating and bullying will get them nowhere.

"I have had the misfortune of dealing with Stephen Jones from Amber and Co. Shepherds Bush. My landlord is trying to breach our tenancy agreement and is using Amber and Co. as his new Real Estate Agency." A) Your landlord is quite within his LEGAL rights to expect his tenants to sign a contract, he had not breached in any way. The remaining law abiding tenants all signed a new contract and are still resident at the address. The tenants that failed to supply any utility / council ta....

I have dealt with this estate agent and at first they were very nice and friendly and helpful. But giving them my money has actually showed who they truly are. I was so annoyed, frustrated, peeved...you name it all! First, they posted a week's rent in their advertisement online. But during the signing of contract, they changed it into monthly which was actually higher than the one they've posted. That should have been enough to raise the red flag. On my first day in the flat, I discovered proble...

Firstly let me clarify that £100 per week does not equate to £400 per month. Only the month of February has 28 days or 4 weeks of 7 days. The other months in the calendar have 30 or 31 days. So rent is calculated by Per Calendar Month which is calculated in the following manner 52 weeks x the weekly rent divided by 12 months, so £100 per week would tally at £433.33. Secondly on properties that we do not manage, where a landlord has requested just our introduction services, we are ....

Their service is terrible: their contract did not match at all what we had asked for, then they disrespected us when we asked questions about weird things appearing in the contract, they put pressure on us whenever we doubted of their agreement \"If you are not happy you can juste leave and we will find someone else\" !!!!!!). Just ridiculously rude and disrespectful and not truthful. We did not rent their flat in the end because the whole agreement semed way too dodgy. I would reco...

I rented through this agency last year. They were unprofessional, when we asked them to do something they would put it off and off. Only when one of us went to the office would they do what we had asked. The lied to us and were not good on either their written or spoken word. They have are now operating under a different name - Amber and Co, but its the same operation. I wish i had looked at the previous comments before doing business with them....

Terrible service with regards to tennants!!! Do not deal with this cowboy outfit! Very dishonest, disorganised, unprofessional and do not abide by the terms agreed either verbally or in tenancy agreements. I have yet to come across such a badly run letting agency. They don't even meet basic legal landlord requirements! Would not deal with them again and would recommend you don't either!...
