All our dealings with Portico (Leyton) have been excellent. We have found them very supportive in giving advice and dealing with all that needed to be done.
Alice Amara has been exceptional in helping and advising us, any problems we have had she has sorted out promptly including sourcing a new front door when the original company let us down. Sorting out the colour we preferred for the decoration, arranging the buying and installation of a new washing machine. These are just a few of the things Alice has sorted out. Whilst doing this she has always been very pleasant and positive and has kept us informed throughout all of this either by phone or email.
Marc McIIveney has advised and guided us from the start with what we could do to improve the property.
We would not hesitate in recommending them.

I have used Portico (previously Spencers) for over 20 years and I wouldn't use anyone else. I know exactly what kind of service I will receive and the calibre of tenants and that to me is paramount. I have had over 20 years of stress free tenancy and that is all because Marc and his team choose the right tenants.
From the initial contact with Marc, he is already preparing and planning. The communication between staff is excellent and they all work together as a team. I have only had 2 tenants in 20 years - so I think that speaks volumes. Thank you Marc, Jade & Jake, you have all been absolutely wonderful.

I have always had a very good experience with Portico Leyton estate agents who are very professional in finding tenants for us in a difficult market, they are unrelenting in trying to find the right tenants for us through out the search process. Marc Mcilveney (Branch Manager) and his team have been the contracted Management Company since the purchase of our property for the last 10 years. Marc has provided an outstanding all round service to our property interests and ensuring all needs have been met. Ensuring relevant certificates (e.g EPC, Electrical safety certificate and others) and Tenancy contracts, inventory checklists and maintenance checks were all in order and up to date. An online video marketing the property was made available during these unprecedented times of the COVID 19 Pandemic where physical access and viewings of properties are restricted. He undoubtedly looks after both the landlord and the tenants best interests, providing sound solutions to any issues as/should they arise. Highly recommend their service.

The old tenant at my flat left an old bed which was really dirty and unhigyenic. Now they're trying for me to pay £200 out of my deposit for this bed, as they say they never specifically said I could remove it. Really feel like they're trying to rob me, I wonder whether they also tried to charge the old tenant an amount for disposing of the bed!

Would highly recommend them as a trustworthy estate agents. Mark was also on hand after moving in when I had a small issue which was sorted immediately. The whole process from start to finish was managed so well.
The portico card for discounts at local businesses and the tote bag were such a lovely bonus as well.

Portico (formerly Spencers) took over management of my flat after two agents mismanaged my property. My first contact with Portico was with Marc Mcllveney at the Layton Office. I was so glad of his professional advice and the efficient manner he dealt with the rogue agents I had the misfortune to employ. Since then I have found him helpful and to give good advice.
In 2019, the inspection and repair process seemed to not be working so well. Mr Mcllveney put me in touch with the new property manager Grace Conlon and presently, she is progressing the jobs that needed doing.
After Portico took over Spencers, I did find it difficult to navigate the more complex system and relied again on Mr Mcllveney to help me.
I am happy with the management of my flat by Portico Leyton.

In a free translation they want to rip you off with the fees you will end up paying as the contract is purposefully done in their interest .
Gokhan and Mark the manager are absolutely wasting your time trying to rip you off.
