Acres response to this review states "We always try to source the best possible quotes for our clients and where possible obtain two quotes.". From personal experience as a tenant of theirs, this is absolutely rubbish. We didn't once have 2 quotes carried out for any single job that was carried out at the property in 15 months (and there were alot jobs carried out unfortunately). It took Acres 2 years to reply to this comment to " defend" themselves! Says it all really , dealt with them on a number of occasions and the manager is rude, arrogant, tells lies and couldnt organise an egg and spoon race! ...

Absolutly terrible. The staff are all 2 faced, and definatly dont have the customers best wishes, as they should. We bought a house, they did not help us negotiate, lied to us about how long the house had been vacant for and the state of heating etc. they know we had children and only 2 days to move in, but do decency at all. we moved in to be landed with a £2500 bill, for the electric work, boiler work and huge water leaks in the bathroom and kitchen. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
