What agent could do to change your mind?
At least to show some respect and transparancy, If let was agreed about a property, state so, if not interested in a particular customer to mention the reason. If they are too busy to accomodate another customer, please say so. And over all, please do not take over good properties to just make them stagnant in the market, this is just unfair for everyone.

I have never felt the need to write a review about anything until dealing with this company. Experience was so poor and stressful I feel I must share. Acquire were fine as letting agents as long as you wanted absolutely nothing from them. Maintenance issues were reported over and over again with a man coming to price up what needed fixing but nobody ever actually fixing these things (in over a year). What agent could do to change your mind?
- Communication between agents - Answer emails and return phonecalls - Follow up on maintenance problems - Give warnings for flat checks - Not charge such extortionate fees - Return deposits promptly - Learn how to speak to clients politely. Would much prefer honesty to hostility and allegations if something has gone wrong.

This agent treated us despicable as tenants, and speaking as a tenant their property management is not worth the money that they "*" extract from the "*" landlords. I had to take this agent to court for where they were issued with a CCJ for unlawfully withholding my deposit. What agent could do to change your mind?
By giving my deposit back on time, carry out property maintenance when told about a problem, some people just shouldn\'t be working in the public sector. Extremely poor customer service.

The team at acquire were brilliant, they were very attentive and helpful and met with my criteria. The agent who dealt with me was very helpful, i was having difficulty trying to procure a property for rent in the location i was looking, but thanks to the agent and staff at acquire they found me a very suitable property quickly and smoothly. I would definitely recommend acquire estate agency to anyone who is looking to rent or buy a property....

Lauren (Acquire) was very helpful and accomodating in the fact I work away so my viewing/s was done at the weekends at a time to suit me. All correspondences and paperwork was sent and dealt with via email and helped me through the whole process and nothing was a problem. Main paperwork and signings was done to suit myself without any complaints. Acquire have been my agent for 4 years now managing 3 properties for me in burton and derby, their service has been fantastic, living 60 miles away I never worry about any problems or bad tenants- they are very thorough with their referencing and paperwork. Found a 2 bed property that we really liked so me and my partner decided to take it with the 2 kids. We were first told we would have to pay X amount for application fee, the deposit was £100 more than the rent and we would also have to pay 1 months rent up front, this came to around £1300 which we were willing to pay. My deposit wasn't logged with the TDS either, and they wouldn't pay me my deposit back so had to take them to court where they were issued with a CCJ and got a column in the Burton Mail!....

I have previously let properties through numerous agents. Over the years I have found Acquire to be the most helpful, pro-active and grateful for new business, possibly because they are a smaller independently run firm. Wouldn\'t hesitate to recommend....

We used Acquire to rent out our house and got a first class service, we will be using them again to rent out another house next year. It was the first time we had let a house and really didn\'t know what we were doing, Acquire couldn\'t have been more supportive. We decided to give them a go this year to sell a house for us. After spending many years caring for a property as my own, having a good relationship with the landlord this company still took 3 months to return the deposit, despite being approved within a matter of days. Several phones calls and a letter later I was told it would be sent but what should happen, the cheque bounced! Provide an efficient and helpful customer service. Do not lie to people and act on any issues in a timely manner. Respect good tenants rather than punishing them.

ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING! They allowed one of our properties to fall into disrepair despite the tenants constantly advising them of the problems such that it cost us twice as much to fix than it would have if we had known of the issues immediately. As a result we have had to lower the rent to keep the tenants. We offer a full management serivce and log every repair and call to ensure properties are kept to good standard. , please can you contact us directly should your statement be true, we take accusations very seriously and we certainly dont use false photgraphs!! im sorry you feel this way - you have our number, please contact us and we will do anything we can to help.....

Was forced to lose deposit because Landlady said the house needed cleaning. 'Cleaning' was done at the expense of £50 and then another £50 for a specialist to clean the oven. this was then resulted in ordering another oven.
