Worse service from a Estate Agent ever, never replies to emails or addresses issues we have experienced or raised with them. We have given them plenty of opportunities to help and resolve issues experienced after a leak. They just don't want to know as long as they get the rent money. Just fed up of them....

Rented through acorn for two years, with very much support n help whenever we needed, but when we gave notice, we left the property in such a manner, that it can be rented straightaway. But they were not happy which is very usual I guess, and everyone wants to make money before they leave someone. Acorn have been letting my properties for the past 15 years. They have provided a consistently high standard. They are always helpful, prompt and efficient. Properties have always been re- let quickly and my letting experience has been completely hassle free. They have also sold several properties for me with great speed and help when I needed it. I've let my house with Acorns since the Summer of 2011 and found the service excellent from the get go. Having given them pre-approved limits to repair items without instruction they just get on with it, and provide detail of the work carried out. Having been with Premier Move before this (who were a disgrace), the service has been a pleasure....

Acorn Estate Agents in let our 1 bed flat in Hitchin. Paula came to the property to advise us of what would and wouldn't be required when we were renovating, which was very helpful. The property was also let by Acorn the first morning they showed it. We are very pleased with Acorn, and Paula's help....

I contacted two agents in Hitchin initially and very quickly decided that Acorn should continue to work on the sale exclusively. They set to work very efficiently and arranged a number of viewings in the first week. Their communications have been excellent and I found both Paula and Cathy to be very easy to work with. The sale was agreed after only nine weeks which also included the Christmas break. I have no hesitation in recommending Acorn for house sales in this area....

This is a awful estate agents!! I let a property from Acorn for 3+ years. The property was okay. They are reluctant to carry out repairs even essential ones. When they do accept responsibility for the repairs they are in no rush to complete them. Frankly when it comes to your deposit they can absolutely not be trusted...

Avoid this Company if you\'re looking for flat to rent I have rented a flat from this company a year ago and the experience is very BAD. They charged high fees: cleaning, commission...etc but do not provide service that worth the money. I have recently moved in to a property let by Acorns, I knew what I was getting in to a certain extent as I negotiated a discounted rent to do some of the work myself. But by god, I really wish that I hadn\'t of even looked at the dump. incredibly unprofessional service, to the point it was almost a joke. if you have a house or flat that you want to let dont use these cowboys. They never notified us when the tenant didnt pay their rent, and never did any of the checks they were supposed to do. They also tried to charge us for work which we hadnt signed off. Now with a proper agent (putterills) and the difference is remarkable....

Prior to letting out my property, I found Acorn to be the best agents, they constantly kept me in the loop as to when viewings were taking place and seemed constantly on the ball to get as many viewings of the property as possible. I find Kathy who manages my flat looks out for me as a temant which I really appreciate. I had a long ongoing problem with my hot water when I first moved in. The bottom line it took an overly long time to fix but it was resovlved in the end and I received a small amount of compensation for the inconvenience from my landlady which kept the Landlord Tenant relationship on a good basis. I have been a tenant in the above address for five years and Kathleen Milne has been my property manager over the last few years . Kathleen as been very helpful and always resolved any issues i may have encountered . We had one of the worst ever experiences any landlord can have with Acorn Estate Agents. a) Firstly, two of their staff managed our property, but neither ever bothered to vost the property ever. They didnt even have a set of keys the flat! i had given them our set which they lost and when i asked for a copy, asked us to pay for it. b) they use only one contractor for everything and charge us three times the market rate for any management/repair work. firstly, they shoul have a set of keys of the property they manage second, they must provide at least 3 options for suppliers for any repair works as other agents do, so that you dont end up paying through your nose for simple jobs- what is the point of paying management fee if you end up doing all the work? They do not check if the work was done correctly and we have had to get the same work done again in a couple of month\'s time.

Terrible service, takes ages to resolve issues. And does not care about its tenants. Properties seem to be left to go into disrepair by landlords, and this is not spotted by them (Acorn). I rented with a flat in Stevenage through Acorn. With the exception of the inside of the oven being filthy I had no other issues moving in to this property. Incredibly unprofessional outfit. Do not use them even if you really love the property - it really is not worth it! Flat was filthy when we moved in. We had to live without hot water for 10days before it was fixed. The toilet was not fixed to the floor. The electrics were condemned as dangerous by the siemens chap who came to fix the meter (that also did not work). The fridge did not work and it took 4months to get a new one. I used Acorn to let my flat, have had nothing but problems all the way. When the latest tenant vacated, I was told the property was okay, just needed a clean. Biggest understatement ever, the flat was filthy, carpets ruined, wallpaper ruined where she had cats, no permission was ever given, how you could miss cats on an inspeection beats me. I rented thru Acorn-it was appalling. The house was wrecked and filthy when I looked at it. Acorn never inspect their properties on behalf of the lanlords as far as I can tell.
