Such an awful letting agent. They lied when they showed me the property and when I checked in to the property I got to know the truth. They doesn't really help in any matter. Emergency work doesn't get sorted even after weeks. I have never seen a worst letting agent than them. Expect their customer service until you paid the amount to them. Once they grab your money it will be a nightmare for anyone to get anything sorted from them....

Absolutely awful experience in my time living in an accord property, they will apply massive tenancy fees for anything they can get away with (including a reference fee for the same person twice in five months), any issues reported will be ignored for months on end, I was without a shower for 2 months. Vital work needed will be delayed endlessly, we couldn't access the garden for weeks after we first moved in as the patio door was broken (despite being assured that it would have been replaced be...

Very bad, POOR customer services from Accord Lets - Birmingham - Informed me I was meant to pay a certain amount for deposit and then kept increasing the deposit amount. By the time I moved in the deposit had been increased by nearly ‚£600 which then left me out of pocket for a whole month, and imagine moving to a new place and being out of pocket. Unclear emails and when I spoke to her, she would sometimes scream at me on the phone and say DID YOU NOT READ MY EMAIL!!! Very poor service...

Beware of this agency ! Don't expect anything help or support from them, they are just money driven. The property was very good and well maintained thanks to the landlord and everything worked, but the way agency conducts any matter with us is always suspicious. As tenants we have never been informed of the possibility of doing the "rolling contract", so they make you pay a fee for every renewal and they consequently suggest you to do short term contract. We have been charged 600£...

Landlords and Tenants - BEWARE! I gave up renting an apartment because I felt cheated when presented with their fees, which are abysmal (750£ for a 1BR apartment). I was informed that the fees will be 'a few hundreds' but 750£ is definitely more than that. 175£ were to be charged only for inventory - this, for an unfurnished apartment. I chose to go for a more expensive rent, but with a letting agency that does not mock its customers with such fees....

I've been told to pay for the first 3 months of tenancy agreement in advance including 2 months deposit before viewing the property. That's ok. However, as I am an International student, and I am not familiar with some staff. I surprised that, I found the the contract mentioned the payment quarterly, and no body informed about that before viewing the property :( In general. I like the staff they were friendly and helpful, I'm just surprised about payment quarterly....

This is the worst agency I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with! They do not honour their agreements and have an utterly shocking approach to customer service. Contracts mean nothing to them, they will do whatever they want regardless of what they have agreed to do (on paper or verbal). We moved in and nothing apart from carpet cleaning ha...

All I can say is I have never ever experienced anything as bad as Accord. * They do not understand what customer service is. They fail on a daily basis! They do not understand what a verbal contract is, breaking it several times and being deceitful. They even changed their mind about the terms and conditions! With other estate agents, when looking for a property they have been more than helpful with my search. With Accord lets however I got terrible customer service. I called about a property I had seen online and their advert was vague so I needed a little help identifying it. She interrupted again and said I couldn't have parking with any proper...

It started out positively - they seemed so helpful via email when I was looking for a property! More than eager to take my hold money and so on. Following this, it was nothing but incompetence, rudeness, inefficiency and some actual outright lies. They misrepresented the property, charged outlandish fees (including some for services they didn't actually provide - that's called theft), and were unspeakably slow. It has taken months to retrieve my deposit and for some reason the transfers *from*...

I have been living in rented accommodation for over 8 years with a variety of companies and I can safely say I have never received such appalling and unprofessional service as I have from Accord. When we were viewing the flat the service we received was fantastic. Fees. Fees. Fees. £££. Firstly they do not list their fees online which raises suspicions, and rightly so as they charge £600 admin fees for a new tenancy. Yes, £600! All of the main agents in Birmingham charge up to £300 at the top end of the scale yet here Accord are thinking they are worthy of double this. £275 for the AST which involves them simply changing a few details incl dates and address on a draft template. £50 admin fee per person (...
