They could have treated us kindly and fairly, insisted that the landlady meet her legal obligations, communicated, not insisted on turning up at the property at a time that suited them but been flexible, not commented on us being a week behind on treating the weeds when they weren\'t prepared to lift a single finger on the maintenance that was their responsibility, not acted as though it was our fault that there were maintenance issues as though we had created them! And we keep the property nicer than any other tenanted property I have ever seen!
Perfectly fair if maintenance and tenant care to legal minimum is maintained, over the top if not (which is the case).
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
