Very disappointed with their service. They were very slow in getting things fixed (including toilet) when this needed done.When I wanted to leave the property, they provided me with the wrong information in terms of my contractual obligations. Only when I sought advice from a lawyer, did they decide that I could leave the property after all. Then with the inventory check-out, I lost £100 due to dust on the window-sills even though the property had been profesionally cleaned. They never issued any apologies for the 'misinformation' they provided in terms of my contractual obligations. They are literally the worst and most unscrupulous letting agent I have ever dealt with. I would certainly not recommend them.

Thank God. I thought it migth just be me! Used Woollens to rent between 2006-07. And moved to Devon at expiry of the lease. Left the place in professionally clean condition only for them to pull us up for a bloodstain on mattress. It had been there all the time (My wife was grossed out by it and we offered to go halves on new one two weeks into the tenancy). They denied all knowledge of those communications and instead demanded 950 pounds for a new mattress, settling on 250 after a lot of stress. Not ethical or trustworthy people, avoid them and save on stress.

Where do I start? They are the most unproffesional company I have ever had to deal with. They use bully boy tactics and treat tenants like second class citizens. They have no concept of housing law and believe they are above it.

Breached contract by entering the property without permission. Also forced entry with potential buyers. Very rude and unscrupulous. Held on to post and delayed deposit.
No regard for the law, contracts or rights.
