Firstly the agent mails you 6 months into your let to offer to re-negotiate your rental agreement for £75. The letter they use very much indicates that this is a mandatory charge and that you must pay it. This is not the case. This breaks several transparency rules where the agent is meant to fully explain the options and best interest of the tenant.
Secondly on receiving a rental payment they shouldn't have got from my bank account they have decided to charge me £10 to return the money. I have asked for justification as to how it costs £10 to write a cheque but they have not graced me... (read more)
