Nick Sefton was our contact at William Lewis & Co and right from the very beginning from our 1st viewing to signing the contract & collecting my keys Nick was so helpful, professional & made sure all went as smoothly as possible and done the hard work for us.

Nick has been one of the best agents i have dealt with. Not only did he make the whole process easy - he has also helped me promptly with any issues i had throughout.
I also found the agency fees to be reasonable.

I had (and continue to have) very good interactions with this agency, from seeing the property, to getting through the contract process, to having a few little things fixed after moving in. I found all the agents, too, to be very helpful and easy to deal with which has made this an overall pleasant experience.

Excellent agent. Quick responses to all of our requests and very well organised and always concerned to find the most convenient solution for everyone. Answering his phone till late and has a very powerful urgency help phone line.
Fixes in the flat have been made quickly. Also the paper stuff was handled quickly and everything went very smooth and fair. My highest recommendations so far. Thanks Nick, Wendy, Ruby, and the rest of the team.Was this review helpful? Yes

Nick wasvery helpfull in arranging the viewing in short notice,got the property ready for us in lessthan 24 hours for us to move in.Finished all the paper work in record 2 hours. nick BENT BACK WARDS AND FORWARDS with the landlord to make us settle down comfortably.Nick has been very willing in helping out with any problems we have faced be it parking or any other maintanence issues with the property.I would recommend them very highly to anyone who wants a 5* service.

I found Williams Lewis & Co to be very helpful and made the process of paying and signing the contracts very smooth. Nick has been great in answering any questions we had and making sure all our requests were completed before we moved in (such as a new outside light sensor and full professional clean). I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

It was a cold winter day, one of those rare days where snow actually falls in the City. It was cold and getting dark, not the day for flat-hunting. I was mildly surprised to find Nick waiting for me. My next surprise followed shortly afterwards: the flat was just what I wanted. After a 'yes' from me and a handshake Nick said the flat was mine. He was as good as his word. The paperwork was completed in a very professional manner and I had the keys to my new apartment.
I am now into my third year and very happy with the service I receive. I make a point of signing the annual renewal in person so I can thank the staff for delivering a continuing good service.

I found Williams Lewis & Co to be extremely professional and helpful. Moving down to London meant that most of the contact was by email and phone and I always had a very prompt positive response to all my queries. Nick himself ensured that I fully understood everything that was required and made sure the process flowed extremely smoothly.

We have found the agency and in particular Nick to be extremely helpful. No matter what questions we had they were always answered promtly and everything explained in detail to us. They were patient and understanding and no matter how many times we asked the same (and probably sometimes silly!) questions, we were never made to feel like we were being a nuisance. They were really accomodating and made every effort to ensure that the deal went as smoothly as possible, even though in our case it ended up having to be a really rushed deal with very little time to get things done due to one of us... Do NOT rely on this agent, especially if you are a international student and do not have a UK-based guarantor. Have you even heard of anything like having to pay a full 12 months rent BEFORE the agent gets the landlord to sign his part of the contract (insisting it is standard procedure and the landlord wouldn't run away with my money)? Other people working in the same office doesn't seem to know about that "standard procedure"? One agent saying there will be massive increase in rent if I convert the reception into a bedroom, and another saying no rent increase (both without confirmation from the landlord)? No substantial updates on tenancy agreement as I wait anxiously in my home country (over summer), even with me sending them countless emails and calling them up relentlessly?
Yep, William Lewis got them ALL. You can especially find that kind of service from this particular agent, Nick S***** who also happens to be obnoxious, rude, and lazy.
ZERO star for them.

Unprofessional! specialise in nothing other than ripping people off. Very unorganised, zero communication and like to bleed money from people without just cause. Would never recommend them for anything other than a jail term.
