We are currently using William H Brown in Ketttering. What a waste of time, after initially not listening to our request to wait 14 days until we completed our contract with another agency (a mistake to end this contract in hindsight), they started marketing it immediately. Bringing around a buyer who promptly put an offer in meaning we were but in a difficult suitation with the estate agent we were with initally & William H Brown both wanting to be paid commission. This 'sure thing' & 'ready to go' buyer has been unable to obtain a mortgage & after expecting to have exchanged and completed by now we are now back on the market after 3 months!!!!

Since going back on the market we have left 3 messages with William H Brown to return our call to no avail, we have been into their offices & the only agent in there (who was far more interested in chatting up the female lettings person) said "we are not marketing that property". We have had to put them right & left another message for them to get back to us.... 24 hours later we are still waiting....

My recommendation would be to think VERY carefully before using this agent. We will be handing in our notice today.

I used William H Brown's Brandon Suffolk branch. Tried to buy a house with them. Wanted to see our bank accounts up front. Morgage arranged, surveys done we went into rented accomodation waiting for house to have water ect connected. Waited and waited but still nothing happened. Their good customer a local builder just didn't respond. William H Brown did nothing to help, other than tell lies for their builder friend.

We brought else where. Never again. I have it from the horses mouth that they have lots of flying freehold properties for sale and they can sell them like hot cakes!

This agent is to be avoided at all cost! Otherwise the cost will be all yours!!

We tried to sell our house using William H Brown estate agent. Communication was poor, we had to chase them for updates. They used inappropriate description of the house in advertisements. Eventually we moved to a different local estate agent.
