Having used several estate agent during a nomadic career, using Keith Russell & Sarah Woodward's family agency was delightfully refreshing compared to the often indifference of corporate agencies. An honest appraisal of the current market conditions plus a no nonsense, plain English contract, on one A4 sheet, completely without hidden clauses gave an early feeling of trust. Throughout a protracted & precarious chain, Keith & Sarah updated me regularly. The effort they put in to finally achieve a sale was truly outstanding! In this day & age this was the finest example of customer service.
I unhesitatingly recommend White&Russell as the premier agency for the Basingstoke area.
I have no interest or connection with this agency other than as an extremely satisfied client .

Fantastic, professional service. We were well informed, treated with respect and consideration. Very impressed with the way in which they helped us from start to finish and with other matters concerning the move. We would certainly use them again above any other agent as we feel that we have made friends with them all.

I have been happy with the service provided to me by White and Russell Properties. I would recommend their service to anyone looking for a good property management agency. They have treated me with the same level of respect and conducted themselves well always from the point of the viewing up until completion and beyond as the fully management service is in my eyes first class.

Very unimpressed. We were first time buyers who had had some poor experiences prior to trying to buy a house with White and Russell. Back in June 2012 we had our offer accepted on a property with this agency but following a lack of help and communication in January of 2013 my partner and i had to pull out of the purchase. Every time we went to the agents for information on what was happening with the chain we were in we got fobbed of or in one instance told that they would easily resell the property so we were nothing special to them. We have since bought a property through an agent that has been very helpful, great on contact and treated us like proper customers. This agency need to learn a thing or too about customer service especially if they want to earn their commission!

We had excellent service from start to finish. We originally had our property on with another agent and had appalling service so to work with the team at white & russell was a breath of fresh air.
Sarah went above and beyond the call of duty working outside office hours and pulling out all the stops on very tight deadlines. We had a lot of obstacles along the way which, if Sarah hadn’t made it her duty to understand the whole chain could have lost us our dream home. Sarah worked with our solicitor and made sure that she kept in contact with the other agents/solicitors in the chain to ensure exchange/completion was achieved on time.
I couldn't recommend them highly enough and I would definitely use them again.

Recently marketed and sold our house with these agents. The most positive ea experience we've ever had in all aspects and would thoroughly recommend. Also more than happy to advise us on questions around our eventual purchase with a property not on with them. Come across as genuine, helpful and honest, which says it all. A small but highly professional team of individuals who make it their business to really 'know' your property to enable them to sell it for you. They work with your best interests in mind but are realistic in managing your expectation to help you achieve a true sale price. They know the area and do their best to accommodate viewing requests, even outside of normal office hours and, on a couple of occasions, driving a prospective buyer without transport to the property. Sarah really went the extra mile when it came to exchange of contracts and ensured deadlines were met and the sale progressed as planned. We asked a number of estate agents to come around having prepared our property for sale and chose White and Russell for two obvious reasons:
a) they offered the highest price with lowest commission
b) we felt the most comfortable with the manager KeithThe photographs taken of our house were of excellent quality and more numerous than the other estate agents used for advertising purposes. On the first day we sold our house through them for the full asking price. This sale fell through due to no fault of our agent and we once again put it on the market and sold it the second day for the full asking price. White and Russell arranged a large amount of viewings in line with our availability. As we progressed through the sale and purchase of our next house (also through White and Russell) we came across a number of obstacles which White and Russell took upon themselves to resolve. Overall the service was excellent from a customer service point of view/marketing/price/commission and I would very happily recommend them to any future buyer/seller

Customer Service at its best with a real team of Professionals that 'really understand and respond to their market needs'. The current economy needs a special breed of Estate Agent to get results and these are your guys.
Competent and Caring individuals.We had a rather challenging process as our first two chains failed because of people further down. White & Russell were straight back in there doing everything they could to rebuild the chain and they did. What a lettings team - what fabulous service.
I cannot praise the team highly enough. As professional landlords themselves, they know a thing or two about being a landlord and have helped me (with just the one property, my first house) enormously to find out about the world of being a landlord and what there is to do (or not!).
I'm a busy lawyer so don't have much spare time to sort out a house 50 miles away from where I live, especially when things appear to go a little pear-shaped. Not only did they find me a new tenant in super quick time, but they have supported me through needing someone local to let in the plumber to do the gas certificates, giving me guidance on whether to repaint or do works at any particular time, sorting out disputes with outgoing tenants and liaising with incoming tenants.
if you are a landlord, looking to let out (or rent a property) you would be doing yourself a favour by hiring these guys at White & Russell. I can't say anything but praise for them.

My gut instincts in choosing the best estate agent to sell my house were spot on! I would highly recommend White & Russell and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future. Met with 3 different agents in the course of marketing my property - Keith Russell was the most polite, realistic, informed and accurate (in terms of valuation). I moved abroad and entrusted the whole sale to White & Russell. They kept me informed by email; kept an eye on the property and ensured a steady stream of potential buyers despite a stagnant market.
I can't recommend them too highly. Efficient, thorough and they know the Basingstoke area well. Recommended.

Out of all the estate agents we spoke to we chose White & Russell as they provided us with an accurate valution and understood our position when we went onto the market (i.e. weren't pushy). When they showed people round, they gave us plenty of notice, were respectful of our property, and were always there on time when someone visited. They were also excellent to deal with on the phone. And we never felt put under any pressure.
All in all, we experienced top level service from start to finish, which is rare to find these days.

Wonderful people very professional, we have had a horrible experience buying and selling, more the selling of our Aunts house to buy the one White and Russell were selling, but without Sarah not sure we would have made it. Totally honest and reliable in touch with everyone in the chain and persistent (thank god). Keith, Sarah is a gem and worth her weight in gold. Well done for getting this deal to completion.

Very impressed with Sarah and Kevin especially their friendly but professional manor. I viewed quite a few houses with them over the months and never once did they make me feel like I was wasting their time. In fact they encouraged me to think carefully and not rush into making a decision. Sadly I am not buying through them but would not have any hesitation recommending them. Both Keith and Sarah were exceptional in handling the sale of my house, keeping me informed all the way. Mine was not the easiest of sales, with buyers further down the chain dropping out, but many times I felt Keith and Sarah went "above and beyond" in subsequently securing the sale of my property.

We used White and Russell to sell our house and have found them to be a really fantastic company to deal with.
Right from the start we were impressed by their very professional yet friendly approach. Amazingly, they managed to secure us a buyer within a couple of hours of us agreeing to put our house on the market with them, very close to the asking price. We were kept informed and updated every step of the way and they really did make the whole experience run as smoothly as possible.

We are challenging this review as it is completely unfounded. We have written evidence to prove that this review is not at all accurate. We spent 7 long months working on the chain difficulties which were completely out of our control. We regularly kept the buyers informed and we have emails thanking us for doing so. Disappointed and surprised to have read these comments.
