We had had our property on with another agent for some time and had decided to look elsewhere when our property didn't sell. We'd been hearing good things from friends about Wooster and Stock (some had rented through them, others had sold) so decided to get them round for a valuation. We then went into the office to chat things through and found Jenny and her staff to be down to earth and friendly. Agents gave solid realistic valuation, Marketing of the house was excellent with many good photos on the website and viewings began after only a few days. Viewings always took place with plenty of notice, and the agents were super careful with my two friendly but naughty and escape prone Siamese cats. Really impressive professional service, and also actually nice people to deal with - house sales aren\'t the nicest things to deal with and dealing with people who are genuinely friendly (and efficient) helps a lot. Wooster and Stock are basically the polar opposite of the \'big name\', miserable, stack \'em high and sell \'em short estate agents I\'ve had the misfortune to have to deal with.

We found the staff to be very professional in arranging for the sale of our house. Even though the negotiations were not straightforward, they acted courteously. They worked to get us the right price for our home. We can certainly recommend the Wooster & Stock team at Sydenham.

We had 4 other agents come to value our unusual property with huge roof terrace, they all valued it at around £450,000.00, while Woosters saw the potential and valued it at £575,000.00. Thanks to their belief, we have now sold it at near the asking price. Thanks for believing Woosters!!! Other agents might have a little bit of egg on their faces, you know who you are! Kristy and Jenny were both highly personable and efficient, sensitive and professional. A notch above the rest!

Generally I fathom to understand just how a property rental agency can get things so wrong. The level of customer service is beyond appalling, along with the lack of communication and the lack of action. It\'s not a matter of waiting for days for things to be sorted with them, or even weeks. It goes into months. Literally. Their complaints process seems to based around ignoring you, and then when things escalate,rude and threatening. Once they have your deposit and first months rent, they just don\'t want to know. Having looked at the recent positive reviews on this site and the prior negative ones, I can only assume that Wooster & Stock have got all their employes to write positively about them. In particular their MD complained about this site on EstateAgentToday.co.uk, thus I imagine these positive reviews are a damage limitation exercise. I can only recommend people to avoid this company at all costs. Please read the early negative reviews for a true experience.

8/10. Firstly the quality of the pictures advertising the property on the web was excellent enhanced by a brilliant write up that was engaging, witty and also to the point. The let was slightly complicated in that animals were involved but Jade (lettings agent) did not bat an eyelid and found several suitable people. However when I had to pull out due to a collapse in the chain my end ie totally genuine reasons I got the impression that they thought I was just messing them around. So this was the only low point. The star of the show though was Zack - front of house - often a weak point in all companies whose efficiency and enthusiasm played an invaluable role in making things go smoothly.

We had a very positive experience of Wooster and Stock, following a long period of looking and a purchase we had to abort, partly because of information not passed on by another agent. The whole process took just over 7 weeks and Kristy was in contact with us every step of the way. I felt she bridged the gap between all interested parties smoothly and with sensitivity. Everyone in the office was helpful, polite and speedy in responding to our questions - all of which were taken seriously, no matter how apparently trivial. I\'d highly recommend them.

Jade arranged us a viewing on very short notice of a property we were interested in letting for our company.She also made it available through her lunch hour for a second inspection for our employees.We took the property and Jade even arranged a B&B for our employees to stay in until the property became available.We found her to be very helpfull indeed and she clearly went out of her way to accomodate us.We would be delighted to use the company again.

The agent priced the house realistically and marketed it well, advising on anything that might deter potential buyers. They undertook all viewings and provided both verbal and written feedback. They secured a sale within a relatively short time scale and indeed I had two buyers making an offer on the same day. Jade kept in contact throughout the transaction and maintained communication with myself and the buyers. I found the agent knowledgeable about the local market, interested in their clients and professional and friendly in their dealings.

I viewed three properties with this agent and was able to make a decision almost straightaway. Kristy Stephanou was very approachable and knew the properties in the area well. If there was something she wasn\'t certain of, she didn\'t give us any bullshit. She offered a lift to the station and was generally pleasant and obliging. The process thereafter was relatively painless, and any slight problems I had were to do with the solicitors rather than the estate agents. She stayed in touch rather than letting things drift, but was never too pushy.

I was happy with the experience of using W&S. I saw and spoke with several different agents before deciding who to go with. I negotiated a 1% commission and I liked the manager who was \'normal\' and not overly \'salesy\' which several of the other agents had been. I was optimistic about a quick sale and heard all the right noises from all the agents seen. I opted for W&S due to the 1% and I liked how they came over. Wooster and Stock initially stood out for us because of their colourful and eye-catching prose and great property photos. We\'d also had good experiences as prospective buyers during a previous sale. What\'s great about them is that you feel like you\'re dealing with real people rather than yet another huge high street chain, and that they have a strong professional commitment to your sale. Wooster and Stock did a good job of presenting our flat to the online market, and then worked hard to get people along to view it, which was all the more important at a time when the property market has been so challenging. Once they had found us a buyer and the sale was underway, they did a great job of staying cool under pressure while working professionally to move things forward. Moving house seems peculiarly difficult in this country compared to most others, with all kinds of surprising challenges to navigate, so it\'s good to have a reliable team like Wooster and Stock on your side.

Our 2 bed flat had been on the market for 6 month with another agent unsuccessfulyl when we eventually asked Wooster and Stock to take over. It was a very good choice indeed! They basically got us a buyer within a month and a half, but prior to that we always felt that the viewings were very well pitched. We overheard Kristy at a couple of viewings and were very impressed by the way she sold our area, features of the flat and potential improvements. We were in a chain and had found our dream buy, but Kristy worked really hard for us in that final part of process so that we achieved what we wanted. If we are ever to sell again, it will definitaly be with Wooster and Stock providing very standards throughout the process.

I have had multiple dealings with this branch in the capacity of buying, as a tenant and a landlord. They are professional people who have always provided timely advice and took a genuine interest in looking after their clients. One thing to note that has always been impressive is the attention to detail that give when marketing the property on their website. The creative use of language for property description make a positive impact in wishing to view the property, unlike other high street agents who in most cases summarize points as bullet points. My dealings with Jenny, Kristy and Zack in the office have been positive all the way. Keep up the good work and thank you for your help.

It\'s probably fair to say my flat purchase was not the easiest, I and my solicitors had many issues getting information from the freeholder. Kristy at Wooster and Stock worked really hard at getting the issues resolved and even went to visit the freeholder in person, which I think is beyond the normal call of a estate agent. So on my purchase I think they did an amazing job!

Property was let within 45 minutes of the first people through the door to view. Jenny and Zack were also involved in attempts to sell the property I certainly could not complain about the efforts W&S made when trying to sell the property, there were people round every week for about 4 months. Eventually it was decided to let the property and W&S have been managing the property since then. Both Jenny and Zack (and everyone else I\'ve dealt with at (W&S) ahve been lovely people to deal with, and I\'d certainyl recommend Wooster and Stock to anyone looking to buy, sell or let a property in South London..

Kristy was very convincing in our valuation meeting and also come across as very direct, no unnecessary sales spiel etc which I appreciated. Zack is always very polite and efficient on the phone. The team have been very pro-active in finding a buyer, and also at chasing up all parties to push the transaction through. Kristy has been great at keeping me up to date and liaising with my vendors agent when necessary. We are now almost ready to complete after just 2 months.

I\'m currently liaising with Kristy at W&S in Sydenham as I buy an apartment in the area. Both Kristy and Jenny at the branch have been really helpful to this first-time buyer and helped me interpret the buying process through its initial stages. They\'ve happily answered all my first-time buyer questions and didn\'t make me feel stupid for asking what I\'m sure are quite basic things. As soon as my offer was accepted, Kristy and Jenny agreed not to show the apartment further and took it off Rightmove, which I thought was brilliant of them; made me a little less fearful of being gazumped. And Kristy was in touch with my solicitor with the initial information for the sale straight away. Very efficient, friendly and helpful all round!

I had four estate agents round to the flat to view the property - they all quoted different prices which was interesting. I met Jenny Holland from Woosters who was very friendly and honest. Her estimate was in the middle and the report she submitted was very thorough. I felt most at ease with her and she had a good sense of humour. I then checked the W & S website which was the best out of the five I saw so I decided to go with them. The photographer then came and was very nice and quick. Wooster and stock sold my house during a difficult time for the property market at the end of last year. Although Jade is a new member of staff I found her to be proffessional, thorough and extremely pleasant throughout the transaction, which was particularly lengthy and at times very stressful. After the sale I also received a glossy book detailing my house which was a lovely gesture. I wouldn\'t hesitate to use Wooster and Stock again for a future sale or purchase.

Wooster & Stock Sydenham Branch have assisted me in letting and managing my properties over the past 5 years or so.They have often gone beyond the usual levels of customer service by showing a marked willingness to close deals, give information or advice to both Landlords and tenants and sacrifice some of their own time outside of office hours.

We dealt mostly with Kristy who had a no nonsense approach to solicitors and was happy (or faked it well!!!) to have my husband and I pop in to the branch if we had questions. If she said she\'d follow up on something she would which we appreciated. During negotiation Kristy worked hard for us. We had a quick turn around from accepting the offer to exchange which I think is mostly down to Kristy. Once you\'ve sold you get a lovely photo book of your old home to keep. Paul the photographer is fantastic and the shots he took really did the house justice. His write up made us giggle!
Selling a house is always going to be stressful and I hope to never do it again but if we had to (and Wooster open a branch near us) we wouldn\'t hesitate to use them in the future.  did not bat an eyelid and found several suitable people. However when I had to pull out due to a collapse in the chain my end ie totally genuine reasons I got the impression that they thought I was just messing them around. So this was the only low point.
