I found Townends incredibly helpful and supportive when finding me a property to rent.
They showed me a variety of properties in different locations and their knowledge of the area was super.
What more could you ask for when moving to a new area? They made what is so often a daunting experience enjoyable and interesting, particularly the list of top pubs to visit!
The process was easy enough and everything was done online which really helped.
All in all a very satisfied customer!

Chris showed us round numerous properties, was in no way pushy, and was at all times honest and transparent. He dealt with the actual offer well, and Lisa helped follow up and close the deal in an efficient and professional manner. A very good experience all round.

From the moment that I meet Chris Gann from Townends at the property and I made an offer I felt that he did above and beyond in assuring me that the sale of my flat went through with little if no complications. Chris kept in close contact with as the deal went through and answered any questions I had for the vendor in a timely fashion. All the staff at Townends were polite, curtious and honest and I would not hesitate employing there services when I come to sell my property further down the line.

Townends Head Office were really helpful in dealing with an urgent and unexpected maintenance issue at my property, contacting me immediately and going \'the extra mile\' to liaise with the tenant, explain the situation and get their maintenance team to fix the problem as soon as possible. I have every confidence in both the staff at Chiswick who found me a tenant and the Head Office lettings team who managed the admin and then the property management, and would recommend them to landlords and tenants alike.

Jon was friendly, efficient and fast. He made time to take me to the property several times, he got me the price I asked although it was well below asking price. I loved that all papers could be signed online!! I never got my utilities pack. I got chased by Hayley for the paper work and to get back to the agency but without clear indication of what she actually wanted... Lets just say the initial contact and deal making was great, the closure was blah but in the end I looked, signed and moved in in record time!

Although the purchase was very prolonged that was no fault of the agent. At all times they were very good at providing information, feedback etc promptly (both branch and central office). As for using them again, any property I wanted would be more important than who was the agent

Townends were excellent throughout this process and demonstrated patience and tenacity in what became a lengthy and complex sale. They were friendly and dilignent and secured us the full asking price for our property. The service we received during the exchange process was also outstanding.

Having had 5 agents around to value my house, Matthew stood out from the rest- honest & friendly, informative & personal. Planning to move back into my home in 3/4 years tenant quality was of upmost importance which he most certainly took onboard, delighted he managed to secure a new corporate tenancy for my home with a lovely family I am more than comfortable with the tenants living in my home whilst on the other side of the world. To top that he managed to secure over asking price for my house! Would recommend Townends to any landlord considering an agency in W4 to rent their house.

From the moment Townends took my security deposit they were an absolute nightmare. Townends fees were much higher than other agents fees and these costs were not explained me prior to my holding deposit being taken. After complaining about the fees which are absolutely ridiculous for a single tenant (£420) I was told if i pulled out i would not get my £300 holding deposit back so I had to like it or lump it! I found the whole experience with Townends a very professional and courteous one. From the initial viewings and early dealings with Katalin, who was very helpful and kept me informed at all stages whilst trying to secure the property, to Michael and Hayley who was particularly helpful with the post contract move, all the staff were friendly, always available (even late at night on some occasions), and professional in their approach. We have had an incredibly positive experience buying a flat with Townends. Chris who has dealt with us throughout the sale has been incredible helpful, going out of his way to facilitate our viewings of the flat and subsequent visits to do thing like measure up. We were also very impressed with the work of Lisa Goggins, our Sales Progressor who ensured the sale went through as swiftly as it did. Without both of their assistance, I\'m pretty sure it would have been a lot harder.

I didnt choose Townends to let my property at first but after 3 week with another agent and no sucess I swapped to Townsends who let the property within a week. Great communication from all the team throughout with Matt & Ben the shining stars.

The flat was dirty with many of the old tenants belongings left at the flat. A few months now since I moved in and the flat had damp issues which I was told by Townends Property Mgmt is to blame for not ventilating the flat - although I always sleep with the windows open as it was a very warm flat! I am at my flat only a few months and cannot wait for the 6 months to be up so i can leave as I NEVER want to have dealing with TOWNENDS again. All the staff purely see is dollar signs and do not want to know you unless they are taking your money!!
