I needed to sell my property quickly and chose Townends from all the agents i saw as Michael said he could get the property sold quickly for me, and he wasn\'t wrong. He had the property on the market for less than 1 week when the first offer came through and it was only a few days after that when another offer came through which was agreed. Throughout the whole process, Michael was on hand to help with the whole process and helping me with my solicitor paperwork i didn\'t understand. I had a date i needed to move by and Michael was always updating me with how long the process would take! I would not hesitate to use Townends again and would like to thank Michael in particular for his good work and making the transaction as easy as possible!

Michael has been a great help with the sale of my property, giving advise and explaining the process as we proceeded but never being pushy! The offer to assist was always there and even sending post for me to make the whole process run smoothly. I would definitely recommend Townsends and Michael in particular.

I first dealt with Reece when I initially went to view this property. I found him to be very straightforward, very polite and very helpful. Reece has been very approachable and helpful whenever I have had any queries, he has always explained things thouroughly and well. All in all I would he highly recomend Reece and Townends to any potential customers.

Townends were very proactive in selling our property and were able to achieve more than we originally thought the property was worth and in a very short time scale. I had met with a few agents but found Michael very understanding and he was around from start to finish to help with any problems or queries we had. I would recommend Townends to anyone looking to sell their property.

I found the manager Riece very organised and efficient, he found me a tenant very quickly and was helpful getting back to me with fees and moving dates. I would use this branch again to rent my flat.

I enquires about a property via rightmove and asked to be contacted by email as I\'m very busy at work. James followed the instructions and got back to me within the hour of my enquiry. He booked me in for a time which was good for me and arrived on time. He showed me a lovely property which I felt comfortable to take on the spot with him. The contract process was stress free as James helped guide me through it.

Very good all round, the addlestone branch were very helpful and found a good tenant quickly. Head office were very good I dealt with Hayley who was quick at getting back to me with answers. Tenant has been in for 6 months and we have a good relationship. Even now if i have questions the branch are quick at resolving. Will use again if I need to.

As a landlady I have ben a customer of Townends Ealing branch now for 12 years and find their customer service excellent. Regardless of whom you deal with at the branch they are always polite, responsive, punctual and efficient. The current lettings Manager, Adam Webber, has consistently exceeded my expectations and always goes the extra mile to respond to mine and the tenants needs - well done!

My property had been on the market with another agent for about a month and I wasn\'t having much luck. After recovering multiple letters from Reece is asked them to market the property. James carried out the viewings and came across very helpful and approachable. A few days later I had a phone call from Reece about someone wanting to take the flat. They achieved the asking price for me and I\'ve had the tenant in the property for a few months now, they\'re very happy and it\'s all going well.

Very good experience with James, Reece and Hayley. I called them at 1pm from my car, my property was on the website within the hour and then I received a call saying my 1st appointment was going to be at 5pm the same day. James showed them round and they rented from me straight away at the asking price. The next few weeks of contract signing were reasonably easy because all the guys at Townsends did the basics well - picked up the phone, emailed me and called me back if needed.

Michael was very helpful and informative in our dealings with an extremely unhelpful seller. I think everything possible was done to make the purchase go through as fast as possible despite the difficulties. Other members of staff weren\'t always quite so helpful or well informed. Bit disappointed some letters were addressed only to the man of the household when most dealings were with me!

turning up dead on time to all the viewing had very good local knowledge of schools shops etc keep me informed how the sale was going a least once a week

I had my flat on the market with a local agent for a month and they didn\'t get many viewings. I received a letter from Reece Ellis and decided to try a new agent. He was honest with me from the outset and explained potential reasons for the property not being let. After taking his advise townends found me a good tenant within the week. I was gently persuaded to consider a property that ordinarily I may not have considered and was efficiently booked in for a viewing the following day. This property turned out to be the one I wanted to put an offer in for. I didn\'t feel rushed at all whilst viewing the property and my only doubt before putting in an offer was the water pressure, as I had forgotten to check shower. This was no issue, as between Reece and James, they promptly offered to check the water for me asap as I couldn\'t leave the office for a second viewing. After putting in my offer and then final, I was regularly updated throughout the day, even up until 7pm by Reece. Very impressed and would use Townends again. Thank you very much Both!

]] This outft are a shower of s**t ! We rented a property from them just under 18 months ago, (after having sold my own flat throught them, amazingly very helpful then) and although the Branch are not half as bad as the Head Office, they are not a lot better. To keep my experience as brief as possible, our landlord went missing, and was wanted by the police. We have had the police round 4 times and when he got in contact with Townend and told them he wanted his flat back, they failed to get an address or telephone number from him, so making it impossible for us to serve notice to him !... What an appalling bunch. Townends showed me a flat in the middle of being renovated, but when I got there it was in a terible mess - dirty and with work half completed. They want bundles of money for ever simple action they carry out. For example, because I wanted to change my check out date as I would be abroad they wanted

They helped me to fid a nice flat but after I decided to live there, their helpfulness disappeared. They checked all my references twice - sure there is no need to do that! I told them I was getting married and my wife would move in with me a couple of months later. They said it's not a problem. Then they wanted another

This is a breach of Section 48 of the 1987 Landlord & Tenants Act, anyway we wrote/went in and tried to get a release from the property as we had a new place to move into, no nothing, no help ! I looked at the address they said they had for him, well within a moment any idiot could tell you that BS is the code for Weston Super Mare and not Bristol !! They admitted they had no idea how to contact him !
