I had 3 Agents in mind when I first decided to rent out my property. The other 2 I rang first and had meeting booked in. Then on my way home I walked into Spencer's and spoke to Rash. I explained to Rash that I was a first time landlord and a bit nervous about the whole process. Even though it was 5.30pm and no doubt the branch was about to close, Rash sat me down and explained to me what they do and what services they offer. He explained everything to me step by step. We were trying to find a property to rent for quite a while, but with very little success, because being deaf, we had difficulties communicating with agents. When I came in contact with Ben Britton, we moved in a new flat within a week. He was so willing to help and very easy to communicate. The same I can say about Rashad Cheema. We did most of the paperwork with him. We were made very welcome and valued customers in the branch. Very pleasant experience all the way through. Thanks again.

The guys at Spencers are amazing! They helped me out so much when i was looking for a place to move into! I had only 3 days to find and move into a new place, and Rashad went out of his way to make this happen for me! I managed to get moved in before the end of the 3rd day! After I moved in, the guys in the office were still very helpful with helping to sort out any problems of queries I had, even though I was supposed to go through Glenmead. They have all the time in the world for you, and they make you feel like a person instead of just another customer! When Rashad (my main contact in the office) was not around, Ben would always have the time to help me out with any problems i had and have a nice little chat. I would highly recommend the guys in the forest gate office, The really will do anything and everything to help you in your search for a new place to live!

Brilliant experience when dealing with Spencers. Moving out of from my family home, a very stressful time, but Ben Britton was an excellent help! Gave me a list of places to view and wasn\'t at all pushy as you might expect people to be when trying to sell. Ben\'s lovely personality and humour made it easy to feel comfortable and safe, very important I think as you want to be able to trust someone who is helping you with such an important decision. I would definitely recommend Spencers and Ben in the future and would go back there myself.

We used Spencers to rent out our house and found Rashad and Ben both friendly and very professional. They found us a tenant very quickly at a quiet time of year (Christmas) and were both very helpful and easy to deal with throughout what was a very stressful time for us as we were moving 200 miles away with two small children. They were easy to speak to and dealt with any of our queries very professionally. They were able to advise us on a lot of issues as this is the first time we have rented out our home. I cannot recommend them enough as our experience of working with Spencers has been excellent.

just wanted to say how much i appreciate what Ben and spencers did for me. having been let down by my previous agent on my move in day, i luckily found these guys and all i can say is why didnt i find them sooner. Ben was amazing from the beginning and instantly put my mind at rest as i have a 4 year old child and couldnt face the prospect of being homeless and having a van full of my stuff and no where to stay. The process was so fast and although i had to stay in a hotel for a night to wait for the go ahead it was worth it and im so glad that things worked out the way it did. I feel that Spencers take the time to be considerate and thoughtfull of a tenants needs. Even now Ben calls me to make sure i am ok and everythig is fine. Thank you Spencers and thankyou Ben for everything you have done. i will always recommend everyone to use you guys.

The service I received from Rashad at Forest Gate Spencers office was brilliant! He helped me to find the house I wanted, the paperwork was made easy for me. Spencers were a very helpful letting agency. When I went to view the room There agent knew a lot about the room I was looking at and the surrounding area. Spencers staff made the whole contract signing process very easy especially considering my guarantor is living in Yorkshire and was unable to come into the office to sign any of the paperwork. All the staff I talked to in the Forest Gate branch were very helpful and knew what they were doing. To anyone looking for a place in Forest Gate or the surrounding area I highly recommend you take a trip to there offices to have a look at what they have on offer.

I have been using Spencer’s Lettings service since 2004 and the reason why I always come back is because of their inherit expertise and professional service. The tenants that they had introduced to me to in 2004 are still the occupants of my property today. I recently came back to Spencer’s as I needed additional tenants for a new property in Forest Gate. I have known Rash for years and I had full confidence in his ability to provide the same quality service. Both Rash and his colleague Ben have been instrumental in getting a range of corporate clients within a limited timeframe. The advice given by Rashad for rent review, managing the tenants during a burst pipe problem, and general availability has been to the point I could not asked for more. Rashad works as an partner in this business relationship, which builds trust and a good bone.

Found a property with few months back with Spencers and we have to say things couldnt have gone better. Ben was fantastic from the get go. Even now i can call him and ask for advice on stuff at the flat and he is always available for us. Its refreshing to have an agent that doesnt forget you when have paid your money and moved in and still will give you their time. I have and will continue to highly recommend this Company and if your lucky you may get Ben as your agent, if so enjoy the ride!!

I first used Spencers in Forest Gate a year ago, I wanted to move to the Forest Gate village area from Canning Town. As you do i went to every Estate agents in the area, With most feeling quite impersonal, Scribbling my details down on bits of paper and promising to call me back if they found something etc. From the first time i walked into the Forest Gate office Ben has been nothing but a gem! Sitting me down and finding out what i actually wanted, What i was likely to get in the area and how much it was likely to cost me :) He made the whole process very easy, Regularly in contact letting me know what was coming up, Then once my current address was found guiding me through the paperwork and tying it all up. Any teething problems we had Ben was always happy to help even though this property wasnt actually managed by them! 5 Star ***** Customer Service - Great guys and very friendly to boot!

I have dealt with Rashad Cheema at Spencers Forest Gate on each occasion that my property becomes vacant. I have a great realtionship with Rash, he knows how I work , is extremely pleasant and I have the upmost confidence that he will endeavour to find me a reliable tenant. He will not try and place the first applicant who shows an interest, but will ensure the tenant can meet his/her obligations under the tenancy agreement. For this reason I only use Spencers in Forest gate for this particular property. This is also the first time I have dealt with Michelle, who takes over the admin once the tenant has been found. She is very competant and ensured all the paperwork was correct and was on top of things all the way. Thank you both

Rashad was outstanding in his courtesy, assistance and practical support. My property was left in a very bad state of repair due to a bad tenant who did a \'moonlight lit\' We had to make the property habitable in a very short space of time for a new tenant and Rashad went out of his way time and again to secure workmen and expedite the process as quickly as possible. Ben was also unfailingly courteous and helpful. I was particularly impressed as I have a small property portfolio but felt the standard of customer service was still extremely high.

I made an offer on a house that was expected I was very clear to say that the property had to be taken off the market and they agreed. One week later they come back to me saying that someone else is offering more and wanted me to make a another offer. I told them where to go. So unprofessional I would stay away from them if you can.

Recently rented a property from Spencers!!!!! My experience from start to finish was FANTASTIC, I had to find somewhere extremely quickly as had been let down by another agent. I dealt with Ben Britton who acted quickly due to my circumstances, which I explained over the phone when I contacted Spencers initially. On meeting Ben was further impressed expected to be viewing 1 property but he had several lined up. Found exactly what I was looking for, the whole process from that initial phone call to signing contracts and moving in all went smoothly thanks to Ben.

Having already advertised my property with other agents I was not having much luck with the specific type of tenants I was looking for. Rashad Cheema, who was most proactive and his persistence in the end has paid off and I have also found the required tenants I was looking for. I am also happy with the fact it was only a matter of a few days when he was able to find the tenants. I am very glad to have met Rashad Cheema, an honest professional hardworking individual who kept me up to date, understood my requirements and based judgement on my behalf as to the type of tenant I was looking for. My only regret I was not to have met him sooner. I hope to have a long and valued relationship with Spencers and Rashad. I am hoping the post sales customer support will be good as the acquisition.

Without me saying another word, he said "use Rash from Spencer\'s". He knows the area very well (Forest Gate) and also that my other uncles know him and use him a lot (Uncles name is George Bans). Then Rash showed several Tenants my house and let me choose who I wanted to Rent out to rather than anyone. The couple that came round were professionals and we instantly liked them. I then booked another meeting with Rash who then explained all the costs ie Gas and Electric. He kindly said he will sort all that out for me. This was followed by regular calls to keep me posted. All in all I didn\'t have to do anything ! Rash covered everything for me. I thought the Rent game was hard and stressful but honestly I haven\'t seen 1 grey hair come out yet !

He made the whole process very easy, Regularly in contact letting me know what was coming up, Then once my current address was found guiding me through the paperwork and tying it all up.
Any teething problems we had Ben was always happy to help even though this property wasnt actually managed by them!
