I am really surprised to read those comments as my experience with Vanet was very good. I actually came to this website to read about my new agent as I had to move out of my property with Vanet due to area relocation.
With Vanet whenever I had a problem it was resolved promptly. When I moved out, there were claims from the damage deposit which took a bit long to resolved as they had to follow instructions from the landlord but we found a middle ground and I got most of my money back.
Overall, I recommend them as agency.

It has been painful having to deal with this agency and their employees. From the moment I moved into the property there were difficulties. The staff lack a level of professionalism that is worrying in a customer facing business. My move out has been particularly difficult. I moved out of my Vanet let property 2.8.2011 and still have not received my deposit back. There have been no apologies for the delay in this, or for the lack of contact from the agency. Would never ever use again.

In my experience, I have had contractors turning up at the door - being ordered to perform ridiculous amendments to the house that I never asked for - without any notice at all. They failed to alert me of house viewings without giving the legal minimum of 24 hours and after construction work, they left plaster outside the house for three months which in turn contributed to people breaking into the house thinking it was a building site. The agent I had was extremely hard to contact and gave me a phone number which was switched midway into the tenancy and didnt give me one that worked. When I emailed the agent to explain why such breaches of the law and our contract happened, they questioned where an explanation would get us. When I explained that it would be a display of respect, the line went cold. There has not been a reply since. To put it in a nutshell, don't use Vanet if you want to risk being treated like cattle.

I had several problems with these guys they kept ignoring any or all problems reported with regards to the maintenance of the property, they never seem to care about feedback but when it comes to customers deposit they would attack it like vulchers even if you would put efforts to make payment for things which were not your faults.
