   I have been with Vanderpump and Wellbelove between Dec 2008 to Jan 2011 and I must say they are pretty prompt in terms of handling inquiries, faults and contract renewals. Its a bit unfortunate that I had to leave the property due to noisy neighbours but I would not hold the agency accountable for that because they cannot keep houses empty and have to run a business.

   Otherwise the checkout was very smooth and the charges were very fair. I would still find no reason to rent with them in the future. All in all very good agency.

   Rented under Vanderpumps for nearly two years and found them to be very prompt with dealing with any maintenance matters, the team I dealt with - Tammy, Rachel and Helen were all excellent and a pleasure to deal with.
   Would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

   We rented from them for 10 months and had no problems. The check out was quick and we got our full deposit back (we had cleaned for hours so would have been very upset if we hadn't!) Lill was really friendly and helpful and has been very prompt in all correspondence.

   Overall rating 5/5 even though it wouldn't let me tick it.

   The Girls at the Tilehurst office have been nothing less than wonderful, friendly and very helpful. From showing us the house, negotiating a lower rate and dealing with maintenance issues, they have never let us down. Only downside is we are moving to a house they don't deal with. Highly recommended !

   I've been renting a property that was managed by V&W for nearly 2 years now and have been more than happy with them. Their fees were not too high when starting my contract and their management service was outstanding throughout my stay. My point of contact, H. Church, was always responsive and always responded to me within 24 hours and was polite. I would definitely recommend them to any of my friends and would definitely rent from them again before seeking properties from any other estate agent. Thank you Vanderpump & Wellbelove and well done!!!

   From the very first day I have had bad experience with Vanderpump & Wellbelove. I viewed a house twice in one day as I liked it that much and wanted my partner to view it with me in the evening. The first agent was quite pleasant, but the agent that came to show us the property in the evening (and apparently the owner) obviously thought the world owed him something and was very arrogant. This turned me off of the agency from the start, although I kept things professional between us as I was still very interested in the house.    Are they still responsible Estate Agents out there?

   We moved into a property in December 2009 and found out very quickly that we have a *VERY* noisy neighbour. I thought we could handle this unpleasant situation with a decent talk to the guy but this was not possible as our neighbour honestly believes that he has the right to play *VERY* loud music until the next morning . Well, he has the advantage that he has not to work and most of his mates as well so that they can sleep until noon and start the next day a new party whereby I have to work. However, we found out that the property is managed by Vanderpump & Wellbelove after several unsuccessful tries from the Environmental Health Department to solve the problem. Well, we thought in the beginning that this will be the end of suffering and that this is the solution to our problem. I contacted Vanderpump & Wellbelove and was happy that they told us they will take care of the situation'

   I rented a flat through Vanderpump & Wellbelove. Unfortunately there was damp in the Flat which after about a month became unbearable (we slept in sitting room as other rooms covered in black damp) and the landlady (although admitting it was her fault at first) blamed us for a huge damp problem (because of broken tiles on the roof) which took 4 months to sort out and she took us to court-(she said we should not have had her cupboards against the walls as the damp ruined them! yet she also instructed us not to move her furniture) we obviously won the court case but Vanderpump would not help us one bit throughout the whole nightmare and were actually very uncooperative and rude.

   I logged my calls to them each day/week as they seemed to get no-where and when I told them this they asked me to prove it. When I explained I had my phone bills to show they said '' how can you prove it was about the same problem''! (Even though it was nearly every other day simply trying to get an answer or help from them). Basically they didn't care, were not in the least professional-and showed it.

   From the very start of my contact with this estate agency I have had a bad experiance. The agent who showed me the properties was putting his tie on as he got out of the car, had no idea how much the rent was, what utlities were included or what funiture was included. When i moved into the property it took 5 weeks for them to fix a window that wouldn't shut or lock meaning i was left with an unsecure proerty for over a month. They NEVER call back when they promiss two meaning I have had to call at least three times a week to try and get problems resolved and any problems take AT LEAST two... (read more)
