I viewed a property with Debra from Tuffin and Wren and within 6 weeks I had exchanged contracts. For various reasons I had to move quickly and luckily the vendors were not in a chain. It was rather a tense time as you can imagine and T&R were very helpful throughout the whole process. They even ensured the SOLD sign was removed within a few days of me asking.

I found Sophie to be extremely helpful at all stages of the sale, she kept me up-to-date on what was happening throughout, without me having to phone her. All the staff in the office were courteous whenever I called in there and I always got called back when someone said they would.
Without Sophie's hard work, it would have been a much more laboured exchange, as it was, everything ran smoothly from beginning to end.
I would have no difficulty in recommending them to friends or family, in fact, I have already done so!Was this review helpful? Yes

I had been looking for a family home for some time and been let down by a number of issues with other properties, which T & W were aware of. Not only did they approach me as soon as the house was valued so I could offer asap they also addressed a number of issues I had to ensure transparency of this rapid approach.
All in all a good office with attentive staff who are prepared to "push the boat out" for you and do that little bit extra.

We bought and sold our property via Tuffin & Wren who were extremely pro-active and managed negotiations to ensure that the sale and purchase went smoothly. We got our asking price for the property ( despite the views of other agents in the area). What I have really valued about their approach though is their personalised service, Sophie really has gone the extra mile in lots of ways,and has provided us with lots of useful contacts for builders etc. Tuffin & Wren have also been great sponsors of our local school, providing funds and advertising which has been really valued.

The team at Tuffin are great, we bought our flat through them 5 years ago and sold with them based on the service we had with them in the past.
They are not pushy, very genuine and it was great that they had us sold within a week of going to market.
Carlos is very helpful and always had his finger on the pulse of what was happening (both in the sale of our property and in trying to find us the perfect new house). I
really appreciate Carlos's help in keeping our buyer on side whilst we did the unenviable task of finding our new house in the area!
In short we really trust the guys at Tuffin (not easily said given the common perceptions of estate agents) and look forward to doing business again in the future.Was this review helpful? Yes

Tuffin and Wren were very professional in the valuing and selling our house. They got a very quick result for us and were very much on the ball in following up, especially when our purchasers had their sale fall through at a critical stage.

I would recommend that NO ONE use T&W for lettings.
They promise the earth ''Oh yes, we'll get that fixed, this replaced, and that will be done before you move in''
You sign on the dotted line, and hey presto, all the promises and obligations vanish.
It's a case of tough, get on with it. Their check in process is amatuer, and designed to cause dispute on your departure, making claim against your deposit.
my family lived with a damp house and defective windows for a year.
we are now fighting to get the deposit back, and are in the process of taking them to the small claims court for misrepresentation, and breach of promise/contract.

Carlos and the team at Tuffin's have been very dilligent and incredibly paitient as we have gone through the process of moving to the area from Baron's Court and trying to find us the right house. Although very competitive, Carlos has always got us into a property first and provided very sage advice throught the buying process. This is a proper relationship based agent and so far the service has been second to none.

Paul, Tony and Carlos have provided first class service in our 2 purchases and finding tenants.
We have never had our properties empty and have always had appropriate tenants. They have offered first class support when things have needed sorting, finding tradesman at the drop of a hat and offering solutions rather than problems.
We feel very reassured having them involved as we are Landlords overseas and feel our properties are in safe hands.
They are happy to go the extra mile.

We moved from Askew Road and bought a house through Carlos Vidal at Tuffin & Wren. He and his team were extremely helpful. We were looking for a three bed which are very popular and Carlos made sure we were kept informed of anything new coming on to the market. He quickly worked out our criteria and when the right place came up on the market got us a viewing straight away. There was a complicated chain and we were kept updated throughout and he followed up on our behalf whenever we wanted a status update on the sale. The Northfield estate agent market is very competitive but we found Carlos to be the most effective.

We moved from Shepherds Bush to Ealing and did not know the area well so really needed an estate agent who could not only guide us through house buying but also help orientate the local area and make recommendations based on our needs.
Carlos Vidal at Tuffin & Wren completely surpassed these expectations. He was always available, always full of incredibly knowledgeable advice and even stepped in with advice on selling our property in Shepherds Bush.
Following the sale, Carlos recommended floor and cleaning specialists and has continued to be a source for all housing questions since then!
I cannot recommend Tuffin & Wren highly enough - a personal, genuine and expert service

I currently live overseas and I needed an agent I could rely on who would work the sale with very little day-to-day involvement from me. I went through several others over a period of months before I reached Tuffin & Wren. Tuffin & Wren were brilliant!
- The actively worked the sale of the house
- They gave my intelligent and market based advice on price
- They got me offers at levels that I was happy with in just a few weeks
- They gave me comprehensive updates on what was going on
- When the sale fell through they found me another buyer - at a higher price - within 24 hours!
- Once we got a fresh offer they steered the process all the way to completion.The service I got was more like the service that I'd have expected from a realtor in the USA. Even better - I didn't pay the 6% I'd have paid in the USA! I'd recommend them to anyone! Thank-you Tuffin & Wren!

Tuffin and Wren provided exceptional support even after the sale was agree. They found temporary accomodation, at a days notice, when we hit a small hitch, and even months after moving into the house we purchased, they were happy to provide details of people in the area who could help with work on the house.
This outfit is not a Foxton's type sales (boiler room) operation, and is genuinely focussed on getting clients properties sold / settled into properties.I would strongly recommend using Tuffin and Wren to buy/sell your property.

We bought our first home from Tuffin & Wren in 2007 and have just sold that and bought our next house with them too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. They are very proactive and always available and responsive. They achieved a good price on our house in double quick time and landed us our dream home. We couldn't have asked for more.
