I found Townends incredibly helpful and supportive when finding me a property to rent.
They showed me a variety of properties in different locations and their knowledge of the area was super.
What more could you ask for when moving to a new area? They made what is so often a daunting experience enjoyable and interesting, particularly the list of top pubs to visit!
The process was easy enough and everything was done online which really helped.
All in all a very satisfied customer!

I have recently sold my flat and prior to this I was renting it out through Townends and their fully managed service.
As a first time landlord the prospect was quite daunting and I really didn't know much about the process. The Townends team were brilliant both in the branch and in the office and helped me every step of the way and certainly made my life easier.
I would definitely recommend Townends to anyone who is thinking of renting out a property now or in the future.

I chose Townends to sell my property as they had a good reputation in the town and I knew of other people who had used them in the past and had been extremely impressed with the service they had received. I knew it would be tricky finding a buyer as it was nearing the Christmas period but Townends assured me that they had waiting buyers for my property and they did not disappoint. My property was already tenanted and it was important to me that my Tenant felt secure during the selling process as I could not afford for him to serve notice and leave me with a potential void period. Townends Guildford handled the let of my property extremely efficiently and professionally from start to finish. The whole team appeared friendly, knowledgable and eager to please throughout the process. My property was let within in a week of going on the market, which wasn't surprising given the high numbers of viewings. Very impressed, and will use them again.

I have used used Townends to find tenants for my properties for many years now. I mainly deal with Jack who is always very polite and professional.
This branch are superb and finding tenants and I can't even remember that last time I have a void period in a property. Most of the time the tenant find service progresses smoothly, but even on the odd occassion when there may be slight hiccups, I found Townends very willing to help resolve any issues.
I would recommend Townends to any Let Only Landlord as they can always find a tenant very quickly.

   This review is to thank both Townends Chiswick branch but mostly to give praise to Lisa Goggin who is a sales progressor at Townends. I sold my property with Townends in the past few months and Lisa was my point of contact through the whole selling process. I can't praise her enough for the professional manner in which handled the process and she is a credit to Townends Estate Agents.She kept me constantly up to date with the progress of the sale by contacting me with any updates and made regular contact with the solicitors. I would highly recommend Townends to any prospective Buyer or seller. Lisa Goggin was a pleasure to deal with and made what is normally a stressful experience a pleasure and i thank her for that.

   I had my property on with another agent without much joy and a friend recommended Townends they were fantastic from the start and filled me with confidence within about two weeks the property was let, and everything since then has been very easy, very smooth transition. They are all delighful, professional, caring individuals, I cannot recommend them highly enough.    Abdul Miah- Abdul was the agent who showed us around the house, he was very helpful and didn't try to sell the house as something it isn't which was appreciated. Also, Abdul contacted me in the process of putting down the deposit for our house and he was very helpful in giving me the necessary details for the house.
   Chris Brookshaw- Chris was the agent who I was initially contacting when first going through the process of proposing an offer. He was extremely helpful and was very proactive in ensuring I had the correct details and got the offer in as soon as possible which was highly appreciated and helpful.

    Mitcham Townends were very helpful in meeting our needs as potential buyers, offering some great properties for us to view.     Met at the property on time, accurately accessed prospective rent and put the property on the market with new photos when agreed. Found Prospective tenant in 2-3 weeks. Regular contact during tenant changover concerning the agreement signings and obtaining the gas certificate and was there for the introductions at the start of the new tenancy.

    The Earlsfield branch were utterly professional from start to finish.     I cannot recommend Townsends enough! Me and my boyfriend were looking for a rented place and after 11 viewings with 4 different agents I am so glad we rented a property through Townsends. From start to finish of the entire process they went above and beyond to make everything as easy as possible for us to move in to our lovely property. As it’s the first time we had rented we were completely unaware of the processes involved and our responsibilities as tenants but Jenna and her team made it so easy for us, they were always available to handle any queries or questions we had (and there were a LOT!). I moved from Kent to Sunbury so knew nothing about the area but when Rebecca showed us around the property I was very impressed with her knowledge of the area, I was also very impressed that they have their own dedicated pre-tenancy team. We have now been in almost a month and couldn't be happier, its great as a tenant knowing you have someone to contact even if you have the smallest or silliest of questions.

    What a great experience I had with town ends rentals team the girls were brilliant from start to finish and would only ever use this agent again if needed to in the future. they new actually what i was looking for and was the only agent that kept in contact with me. communication was spot on throughout the whole process I was always kept updated and they had such a professional manor at all times.     Had a terrible experience with Townends with zero satisfaction and I will never ever recommend this agency to any of my known ones. I really want to tell here how much i suffered with them with each and every stage of their process.

    Initial Deposit:
    First I got a very walm welcome to view the houses and they took real care to arrange the viewings but all those customer care ended after I paid the inital deposit.

    I needed to rent out my property as it was going to be vacant. I tried to look for suitable tenents myself and even used different estate agencies around the area. But when I contacted Townends not only were they professional, they listened to what I was asking for and couldn't believe how quickly they were able to find the suitable tenents for my property. They were also very helpful and extremely easy to talk to and made me feel reassured that my property was kept in good hands.

    The only reason for me to stop my contract with Townends is that I'm moving back into my property. All of my dealings were with Jenna McCann, who was terrific, and she would be first choice straight away if I need to rent my property again and would definitely recommend Townends to anyone I know.

    I'm writing a review y about the lettings administrator Lucinda at this office. Unlike most other dealings with your average estate agents (!) she was totally free of BS, completely organised, kept in touch all the time, and incredibly helpful through what was becoming a very annoying process.

    She was genuinely extremely pleasant throughout.

    The kind of person you would give a job to in a heartbeat!

    After registering with Townends-Egham to find a rental property for myself, partner and pet cat, Adam has kept in contact at least once a week to see if we are still looking. He also contacted when a new property became available straight away if he thought it may be suitable. He has always been extremely happy to help and out of the other estate agents we have contacted/registered with he has always been easy to contact and the most helpful in our search. Even after his week off he contacted us straight away regarding a property which has now had our offer accepted.
