Myself and a friend were looking at renting a two bedroom place and obviously wanted to make sure we understood were happy with any documents we were putting our names to, So we asked a couple of questions to the agent who was really lovely and said someone would get back to us with the answers.
I got a call from the 'manger' who was extremely rude and aggresive on the phone asking me 'whats my problem?' among other questions. Another member of my family then called to clear some things up and the manager 'didnt have time for this' and hung up on him!
We then received a text to let us know that our money was being refunded and our application was not going forward. All that for asking some questions about the contract- imagine if we had taken the flat and something had actually gone wrong.
Really shocked at the way we were dealt with. Im sure most people will be fine- just a warning to proceed with caution!
