We now develop large victorian houses into top quality flats in South West London, which we own and manage in house. We take on flats from other landlords only if they are of exceptional quality.

I'd just like to thank Lizzie at The Haywoods Group for allowing an easy and straight forward move. The property was fabulous and exactly how we expected. No nasty surprizes like we have experienced in the past just cmoplete transparency.

Shocked to see bad comments. I found the Haywoods Group to be professional, honest and trustworthy. Had a few problems with the flat when we moved in. Maintenance team were always on hand, turned up when they said and fixed all the issues even came to mow the lawn when we needed them. Their rents have always been reasonable. Am even thinking of upgrading to a bigger flat of theirs. First class standard I'd say!!!! Thank you Haywoods!

Problems with the boiler - ongoing! Promising to send a plumber - never to be seen (no hot water or heating for days!)
Patronising and ignorant team on the phone.
Apparently they had loads of properties confiscated by a bank and now have no money to do anything - do not count on any jobs being done - only way is to MOVE!
Tempted to contact Trading Standards and council\'s H&S office.

Absolute rubbish, never met such a load of arrogant and deceitful bunch of individuals. Don't be put of by the posh twerps. They never responded to any of my emails or calls and the flat was total rubbish.

We've been trying to get Haywoods to do repair works on rising damp and black mould in our flat for years. Each time they send a 'cowboy' maintenance team that doesn't seem to know how to use a paint brush, let alone work out what they supposed to do. Sales & Lettings Manager is useless and does not respond to the emails, phonecall and then pretends she never get any messages. Our neighbours also had problems with them and had to threaten with legal action.
Don't get fooled by the look of the flat when you first see it. All issues are 'painted over' and it's usually winter when you see the full extend of the problem. We've seen it first hand few times already.
The boiler also packs up every winter, nothing gets done about it. They used to have a great reputation and brilliant team years ago - avoid like a plague now!

Avoid like the plague. I rented a brand-new conversion flat in Streatham owned by the Haywoods Group.
Within 4 months of moving in the flat was condemned by Lambeth Council inspectors as being unfit for habitation, and not adhering to building regs - water poured through the roof and walls when it rained.
It was suggested that "you could move the bed so it doesn't get wet" and we had to take Haywoods to court in the end to get compensation.
