I recently rented my flat in Brighton for a period of six years through Tanat-Jones & Co. They were extremely helpful, not only to me but to my tenant[s] also; alerting me when issues in the flat needed sorting and ensuring that rent money etc was collected without fuss or flourish. I can only think that some of the comments posted here are more to do with landlord delays/issues as opposed to a problem within the office. As for staff being 'rude', I would say exactly the opposite. In my time with them they were more than helpful. I would have no hesitation in using their services again and have recommended them to friends & colleagues, both acting as landlord and tenant. As far as I'm aware, they've never had any cause for complaint.

Ha ha ha, strict referencing procedure. I paid £130 and they didn't even send out a letter to my personal referee or send off the standing order form i filled out and signed!!!
This agency is simply understaffed and can be rude to you when you complain about something, first I complained about the mess left by a previous tenant I left in tears!!! We have since spent 6 weeks without lighting and had to withold our rent to get it fixed. I can only assume you look after so many properties because your rates are cheap, because its certainly not for the poor service you offer your tenants.

Certainly the worst lettings agents I have ever dealt with and that's after 8 years in Brighton.
Avoid like the plague!

Don't know who "Kuyt" is -suggest he call the office to discuss whatever his problem is rather leave disparaging comments randomly on a website,as we deal with over 800 properties.Perhaps he failed our strict referencing procedure.

I never got any help from them whatever problems I had in the flat, and I had plenty (who cares if it rains inside, after all?). They didn't provide any service at all and always forgot to even call me back. I lived in four different countries in my life and they are by far the worst agency I have dealt with. I don't know how they can even call themselves an agency.

We didn't manage the repairs for the property although this had been explained the tenant.The owner did his own so it was beyond our control.
