All the staff were very friendly and efficient. We were kept up to date with what was happening with the sale of our new home to be. Service was great on every occasion.
Thank you

Stuarts in Twyford had one excellent estate agent (Chris) and one totally lousy rude muppet (Anonymous). We made a reasonable offer on a property through them, which they very grudgingly passed on to the vendor. The agent was rude and dismissive, and when he came back to say the offer was refused, I decided not to pursue the property. The property is now on the market with another agent, for £10k less than I offered for it. More the vendor's loss than mine, but I wouldn't recommend them at all.

I am confused by this comment. I have had dealt with stuarts numerous times over the past 15 years and always been very impressed with them. I came on this site to check out another company I am having trouble with and just had a look at this page. What I don’t understand about this comment is that they are paid to sell houses so it is in their interests to put your offer forward in the best possible light in order that the owner accepts it and the estate agents then earn commission?? Why would they not try to get your offer agreed? I know estate agents say they work for the owner but like any business don’t they just want to earn money? Would you not think it was the owner who was not prepared to accept your offer? Just thought I would put out another opinion.
