We recently let our property through Stonewater and received an excellent service from all departments.
A definite mention has to be made for Abul Hassan - Lettings Manager. He constantly kept upto date with the status of our property and throughout the whole process ensured everything went ahead smoothly. An efficient thorough professional - a credit to the company and a pleasure to work with.
We look forward to working with you again.

They were lightening quick to get in touch with me, and sweet talk me into using their services. They promised the world to the tenant (new furniture, new appliances) without asking me if I agreed to these. Obviously once the tenant had moved in and asked me this, we realised a lot of misselling had taken place. Further, their entire office (or so it seemed) have gone on holidays, therefore they did not forward on any payments to me (and are still to do so, even 5 weeks on), and gave incorrect instructions to the tenants for payment of future rentals. So now out of pocket 2 months. It is now impossible to get replies from them, so clearly they're very busy, or they are all still in holiday mode. Am discussing matters with solicitors now. Disgraceful service. Stay away.

My advice to all prospective tenants is to stay away from this agency at all costs, even if they are the sole agent for a property.
I made the mistake of putting an offer through them and giving them a holding deposit for that property. For 2 weeks they were messing me about that the landlord had accepted in writing my offer and we had even agreed the move in date and the changes in the furniture in the flat. I kept pushing to sign the contract and they were holding back with various excuses.
In the end they admitted that the landlord had never accepted my offer. A week before my supposed move in date I was found homeless due to their fault and instead of apologising they even messed me about with the holding deposit. Three weeks later and despite my numerous phonecalls and emails I still haven't got back my holding deposit. They don't even return my calls.
I don't think I have encountered a worse property service elsewhere and I have rented a lot of properties in my life.
