   I am in the process of selling a house through Sparks Ellison , I find them arrogant , conceipted, not prepared to listen to any other opinion than their own. Was extremely rude to my wife yesterday when looking for a property.
   I even suspect unrest amongst their own staff.
   If they were the only estate agent left , I would buy a tent!

   What a disappointment Sparkes and Ellisons you were. You should listen to what your customers have to say and your communication skills need re addressing.

   But hay Ho Fox and Sons were there to save the day. Thank you Foxy for all y our help and support. I highly recommend Fox and Sons in Chandlers Ford for both selling and buying property.

   PS: just ask for Mark or Ann in the Chandlers Ford branch they are always there to help. :-)

   Awful customer service! So much for the customer is always right, was very interested in buying a place they had advertised but they refused booking me in for a weekend viewing on the basis that my property I am selling is not yet sold and they only take bookings on the weekend if they think they can make a commission. If I was selling the property I'd be furious if I found my agent was turning away viewings. Avoid these cowboys at all costs!

   During the sale - which has been a particularly difficult one - I have found Sparks Ellison to be extremely helpful throughout the entire process. I have sold on my own, so have felt this experience quite stressful, but they have never hesitated to explain the processes to me when I needed points clarifying. They have given me advice, without trying to persuade me to take a particular course that would benefit them. I have been kept me in touch with the sale progress all the way - I wish I had chosen them in the first place!

   When I engage an estate agent, I want the agent to act for me and to consider my interests a priority. The problem with Sparks Ellison is that because they like to represent everyone in the chain (seller, buyer/seller etc) their loyality is to the 'chain' rather than to the individual client. While no one wants to see a chain break, there are times when it may be better for a seller to pull out than hang around waiting indefinitely, but Sparks Ellison aren't interested in this. They don't care how long the sales take so long as they get their commission from everyone in the chain.

   I have contacted Sparks Ellison several times to try and arrange viewings and to request further information on properties, everytime I have been greeted with a very unhelpful attuide and just a rude response! On the most recent occasion the agent wouldn't even arrange a viewing on a property as was so confident of a sale, and now a week later the property is still on the market, with no offers made!! The attidude of the agents really put me off buying a property from Sparks Ellison and I will only look at their houses as a last opition. I can't belive that they can addopt such an rude mannor when working in customer services!

   I have used them twice now to sell my properties in Chandlers Ford and they have been great each time, top marks and much better that some of the other local agents whose service is nowhere near as good.

   ABSOLUTELY MARVELLOUS. We had 4 valuations and we felt that they had done their research properly and had a great understanding of the local market. They demonstrated knowledge and professionalism and were very courteous. We were wary of agents over valuing our house to get our business and that was obviously the case with one.    I have to disagree with what everyone else is saying as they over price and talk the market up in my opinion to encourage purchasers to pay more than what the property is worth especially now with the way the market is turning.

   They under value property!!! So that it is sold quickly, I sold my house for 139,900k, 4 weeks later my neighbour selling an identical house through another agent got around 10,000k more, needless to say I withdrew my property and sold it via the other agent for more money!

   Found them very rude. They advised that as I had not sold through them I was not able to even look at a house they had on the market. I felt they went out of there way to sell it to one of their own home sellers. It then all went wrong and they came back to me and asked if I was still interested. It has actually put me off ever selling through them. I did buy the house and I told the owner what had happened. They were suprised as they hadn't been told that this was how this agent worked.

   My advise to any one is: if you want an agent that will give you every chance possable to sell your house, don't use Sparks Ellison!
