   I had the misfortune to contact Seymours in West Byfleet as a property we were interested in was on the market with them. Having now received 7 phone calls from them over the last 2 days I wish I'd never got in touch at all. Tom at the Addlestone branch followed us around like a puppy on the viewing, his only concern appeared to be getting my details to value our property, despite my saying we weren't ready to put it on the market yet. I've now had 3 more calls asking the same thing. They're far too aggressive and their stalking nature has completely put me off dealing with them, whether as a vendor or purchaser.

   Seymours looked after the top of our chain, a small chain that consisted of 2 properties, our buyer’s property sold through Seymours and our property sold through Richmonds. Once my wife and I had finally found the property that we wanted (a difficult task due to an extensive wish list) we were one of two interested parties. Despite having the higher offer the vendor needed to move quickly so instructed her estate agents (Ashwells) to check out how solid our chain was... this was supposed to be a formality given the short chain and having been under offer for 2 months.

   Bad experience with these people - do avoid them at all costs. I only marked one star because the system would not work if I gave no stars - they don't deserve a single one!

   They are friendly and dedicated at the beginning but once they have your \"holding deposit\" they are no longer helpful and when they want something, they turn into aggressive bullies (demanding things that they have no right to even ask for). Stay clear.

   They sent private emails between us printed them off and showed the person selling the house, in my view this is illegal anyway if not just out of order, there own signiture states that the email is for the recipient only so should not have been showed to the seller and as a result lost us negotiations and the house.

   Seriously... steer well clear. Exceptionally shady and known amongst other agents as having more deposits go to arbitration than most I would recommend avoiding with all my heart, currently fighting for a £2k deposit having not been legally served the correct amount of notice and therefore not enough time to save money and move! Save yourself bankruptcy and if you must go with them because you fall in love with a house like we did, get house insurance with full legal cover!!!

   They haven't a clue what to do with deposits, calculate fees etc. Someone lend them a calculator!

   Whilst they did not get the asking price for my flat, the price was not far off and there is a lack of buyers about. The staff were very friendly and proffessional, feedback next day on viewings. Compared to other Agents the sales brochures/internet sales site was excellent with all inside and outside pictures done well and all relevant information on the Flat such as lease and charges. I even knocked them down 1.25% commission. I would use them again.

    We worked with Seymours when we searched for a house. We ended up buying from another agent, but Seymours left very good impressions - they were very good in keeping us informed about available properties and flexible in organizing viewings.
