Savills Putney office provided an excellent service in selling our property. Their marketing and valuation advice was spot on and very professional presented. They marketed the property actively and diligently which resulted in many viewings and a best bids process which assisted in achieving a selling price around 10% higher than asking. I was altogether very pleased with the efficient and friendly service delivered and can thoroughly recommend Caroline Bell and Alex Howard-Baker to anyone looking to sell in the Putney area.

Savills Islington must be the worst letting agency I have ever rented a property through. To begin with - they charge ridiculous fees for renewals of lease (£100+VAT) just to print off the same lease, the do not even review the inventory.
Secondly, on the management side of things - there are ridiculously USELESS. The "managing agent" works part time and is NEVER at work. We had a water leak in our bedroom over three months ago which they have failed to repair - there is now an unsightly hole where the wall has disintegrated... They don't care. Also, there was a shower blockage due to old plumbing which they initally wrote off as my fault - saying that I must a be "very hairy person" and that's what blocked the drain - how ridiculous (for the record - I have short thin hair & my boyfriend is bald). THe plumber had to make a statement in writing to say that old unserviced plumbing was the issue.
Don't even think about using this agency. They are lazy and will rip you off and treat you like dirt as a tenant.

Beyond awful. Savills promised the earth and then failed to deliver. They 'forgot' to market my house. Three weeks after employing them I discovered that not only had they not put the house on Rightmove as promised they had failed to include it on their own website. By direct contrast Hamptons let my house within 48 hours of instruction in the quiet period of August. To rub salt in the wound, the couple now renting the house had been on Savills list and had no idea the house was to let.

Never have I come across such an arrogant and obnoxious couple of estate agents. Aside from their faux plummy accents they seem to have limited knowledge of the houses or the area and are frankly just rude to potential sellers. I will actively try and avoid buying a house through Savills.

Even by the standards of a company whose pomposity, self-importance and cavalier attitude towards its customers, the Oxford office is diabolical. Exclusively staffed by inbred halfwits who think that they are doing you a huge favour in selling you a million pound house. Idiots with good tailors.

Savills in Edinburgh have refused to view properties with prospective clients claiming that they are too busy to do any viewings including second viewings. Our house is valued at
£1 500 000 so imagine how much they bother with clients whose houses are less than ours if this is how we are treated. The most unprofessional service ever.

Messed up our original contract and references. Refused to deviate from their template - even refused to remove terms that were not applicable to our property. Tried to tell my partner who is a Lawyer what certain terms within the contract meant. Now 12 months down the line completely messing up the renewal memorandum and trying to charge us

Lazy, evasive, mendacious and condescending - and that's my opinion after just a couple of phone calls to them. I pity anyone who is using them to sell their property. I certainly won't be!

I am a single mummy and because I have no choice but to claim DHSS I was treated like I was a piece of muck. I am quiet and friendly and feel they should not tar everybody with the same brush! I keep a lovely home and my bills are always paid! I have never been so insulted and to be left feeling like scum of the earth!

Every aspect of dealing with them was torturous. So difficult and frustrating that I didn't pursue interest. Felt sorry for vendor paying approx. 33k commission for such lack of effort in selling.

I used their Upper Street branch to let my property having had a poor experience with another local agent. They were professional, helpful and polite, and alerted me to several issues which my previous agent hadn't picked up on. Can't fault them on service. Their profile is very much upmarket, but their Upper Street office needs a refurb!

Actually the appointment at the property was not kept by the agent first time around, the second time they said the person was waiting outside the property and we did not show up, which was rubbish and actually the agent, a woman, was drinking in the nearby pub. The third appointment was kept and believe it or not, the agent, this woman again, arrived drunk.
They are useless as estate agents, give the impression of being above everyone else but in fact are nearer to being "cowboys" than many of those they look down upon.

Agents only interested in getting their fees. They don't care about what is best for their clients, or even pretend to. The market is bad right now, but to bully people into reducing their prices by 30%+ just so they can get their fee quickly is just appauling & blatantly acting outside the interests of their clients. We left Savills because of this behaviour and sold our house ourselves within 6 weeks for the price we wanted.
