First off I would like to say thank you to mike who really did put effort in with me with regards to my tenancy, but unfortunately I have given such a low rating because all the other workers in this branch were not helpful at all! I had problems after problems trying to get things sorted from the day I moved in until the day I moved out, stuff that was broken when I moved in was supposed to e replaced I kept chasing them up as to what was happening and still 7 months later they still had not been replaced. I had redecorated the place and also put NEW carpets down in the lounge and didn't leave any damages at all in the house or mess!! if anything I left it in a better state than when moved in! But when I moved out they decided not to give me all my deposit back because my oven was not sparkling clean and brand new when I left.... They obviously don't take in to consideration wear and tear... I did clean the oven but obviously 7 months of using it there's going to be marks!! Also because I took the wallpaper off in the second bedroom because the wallpaper that was there was revolting and coming off the Walls a little in the corners, they have taken £200 off me just to paint that room.... I did offer to paint it myself and they would notlet me back in the property to do it!! I have a bog leak in the lounge from water coming in from outside which damage at lot of my stuff which I never asked them for te money to replace, I know I could have claimed on the landlords insurance for this but I wanted to be a loyal tenant and not do that.... So I then had to pay out a couple hundred pounds to replace my electrical goods that were damaged from no fault of my own... Wish I claimed now!! I think Tls Lettings are extremely unfair and are just interested in keeping tenants deposits to make money for them selves and don't have any care for the tenants..... They just do there job and a crab one at that without taking in to consideration tenants that have been wry loyal to them throughout their tenancy but then have them for their deposit at the end of it!!! Would highly NOT recommend people to use there services as they don't help sort things out when needed and they keep your deposit for unforeseen reasons where it is not appropriate.... All I can say I good luck to their tenants they have at the moment and any future tenants that use there services!
This person would not use TLS Lettings again.

A single celled amoeba would do a better job than this bunch of clowns

In their defense they're fine so long as you don't actually need to deal with them.

The flat was disgusting when we first moved in, I'm not a snob but I don't expect to find used sanitary products in the bathroom and spilled sticky stuff on the kitchen floor (it was a nice flat in a nice area)
When we first moved in it took them over a month to fix a broken shower (which was not admitted to being broken when we first moved in)
On a separate occasion I emailed them to confirm something, I received a hand written compliment slip a few days later saying they couldn't reply to my gmail account email and that I need to 'fix my servers' - just to clarify, I don't host any of Google servers, Google like to look after their own servers!
They sent an invoice for a tenancy renewal, when I questioned the amount they said my account was in credit and I didn't owe that much - nice to know they just ask for a random amount to see what they can get
When I informed them my house mate would be moving out they said that would be fine and whoever moved in would need to pay their usual admin fees which is fair enough - they then said I'd need to pay again for them to re do my references even though I wasn't going anywhere and had been a tenant for the past six months

It's a lovely large flat that I really like but I'm not looking for something new just because of the complete lack of faith I have in this bunch of complete clowns - the annoying this is I just know this money grabing bunch of cowboys are going to do everything in their power to keep as much of my despite as possible despite the flat being in better condition now than it was when I first moved in.
This person would not use TLS Lettings again.

TLS are very mediocre.

we had issues throughout our tenancy of which were never sorted.

They sided with the Landlord instead of helping us.

I would suggest using one of the other reputable companies a few shops to the right of their office.

We even had issues getting our deposit back, and it took us 4 months to get the full ammount back in to our account.

be very wary of these unprofessional persons.

That review relates to 5 years ago so things may have changed since.

Generally quite satisfied, no renewal charges on new contract, quite flexible on contract terms.

One issue though which happened to a friend renting from TLS: When they move in the rental house, the small garden shed in the garden was full of old things (furtnitures, bikes, garden stuff, etc..) and that was not checked nor picked up in the inventory. When they moved up one year later, the shed was still full and during the inventory, the agency kept
This person would use TLS Lettings again.
