If I could give them zero I would. Did not try to solve any problems we had, tried to keep our deposit for 3 months, while we were hassling them by phone, text, post every day to get it back (this was around £1000). We eventually got it back, but it was so unprofessional and worrying for us.

They also ruined our move there, because they said the flat was ready at a certain date, and when we moved half the country to get to our new flat, they said we had to go in a temporary flat for 4 days until our flat was ready. This location was the roughest place I have ever been in, in an awful location which made our first few days of uni almost unbearable. They got a small van to help us move our stuff into our proper flat, but the hassle of moving twice in one week was stressful and frustrating. We also missed time from our first week of uni to move again, which is arguably the most vital time to settle in and make friends.

When we eventually thought we could move out after 10 months, we were mistaken as they had given us two different contracts - so while we thought we could move out after 10 months, they went and quoted the other contract and said we could not without facing fines of upto £2000. They quoted whichever contract which came to their benefit.

Not only are they soley after your money, they do not care about your welfare, and they are criminals and break the law to squeeze as much cash as you as possible, DO NOT GO WITH THESE PEOPLE. If you want our advice, have a look for flats or housing on Gumtree, or Freeads - not only will you not have to pay the hefty agents fees, but you will probably have a much better experience.
This person would not use Homelife Lettings again.

I have rented through Homelife Lettings, for the last 6 months. A really nice guy called Richard checked me in the property and everything was clean and tidy. I did have an issue with the fridge that stopped working all of a sudden. Homelife were great as i received a brand new fridge that same day. My overall experience has been 1st class !
This person would use Homelife Lettings again.

I used another company in Southampton for my first year at uni. What a mistake, I moved over to Homelife Lettings during my first year and have never looked back. Any minor repair work was carried without me having to wait. Yes I had to give the house a good clean to get my deposit back. I am now in my final year and have had no problems with Homelife Lettings. I would recommend them.
This person would use Homelife Lettings again.

I moved into a one bedroom flat in Parkview Mansions - owned and run by Homelife Lettings Ltd.

Firstly, it is important to note that the tenants car park is also used as a public car park 7 days a week. This caused me untold inconvenience when trying to get in and out of the car park. People parking in the car park were asked to leave their keys so that every possible space could be used. On occasion it took 30 minutes to get my car out.

When leaving the property, Glen, the landlord came round and did an inspection. He noted many things that were already broken when I moved in. Approximately one month later I received some of the deposit back, minus approximately
This person would not use Homelife Lettings again.
