My partner and I came in to your offices in Fleet, where we were greeted by Abie, who was very professional and friendly throughout....All through our our dealings with Romans, Abbie kept us informed and was a real pleassure to deal with. She is a credit to the company and whilst I know she has not been with you long, she is a real asset to you.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank yourself, Luke and the team at Romans for your professional and enthusiastic approach. From the initial valuation you were convinced of your ability to sell our house quickly and in getting the asking price. Importantly your knowledge of the local market managed to get us nearly 10% more than the valuation from another local estate agent. The Open House strategy proved the deciding factor in generating the interest and resulted in an offer straight afterwards.

Charles was excellent, we drove by the property to see if it suited our needs before arranging a viewing - Charles made a significant effort to come straight out to enable us to view was much appreciated as we were due to travel back to Cornwall later that day. All parts of the transaction went very smoothly with Romans' Nick as the purchase coordinator always phoning back promptly when he was not available to take our call. Branch manager Mark reinforced the overall professionalism by hand delivering the keys upon completion. Overall we were a delighted customer.

Excellent communication, especially dealing with some specific requests I had. Very efficient at sorting out some last minute difficulties to a satisfactorary conclusion. I certainly have the impression that Katherine is a dedicated hard working and committed member of staff.    First class service from all the team at Sandhurst office, house sold relatively quickly considering climate and to the first couple that viewed it via them. A good indication that Romans know how to match buyers with properties.
   Following sale, Nick has provided a very good service trying to move the chain on and keep everyone happy.

   James linder of romans sanhurst has been fantastic the whole way through the process of purchasing our dream home, I cannot thank him enough for the professional approach he had continually from start to fininsh, he worked along side our solicitor and assisted when required, It has been a refreshing change to have such an experience.
   We are also selling our property through romans of sandhurst and it is all progressing very well with an exchange already taken place with completion set for the eom.

   Lynn prepared the agreement and facilitated a speedy signature and authorisation process. Lynn was flexible in being prepared for me to meet her in the office to sign the agreement and therefore ensure the handover date was not compromised.

   The market place being a little sluggish it has taken considerable time to agree a sale, but the Romans team never lost focus or drive and ultimately found me a buyer. I have also used the Romans conveyancy team to effect the sale and would like to say just how efficient the process has been - taking just 6 weeks from offer to completion - and all at a very resonable price indeed.

   Romans in Caversham, and especially the new manger, are rather hilarious. After a dismal experience with these cowboys some 18 months ago, i had their new "manager" on the phone, asking me to reconsider. I invited him into my home, where i recieved the usual sales pitch, telling me (as all estate agents do) that everything was different, and waving bits of paper like Chamberlain after Munich. I asked him to call back after a week, so i could decide which agent to advertise with.    James was brilliant through out my purchase of 64 Yorktown Rd, I couldn't have asked for it all to go through so smoothly and that is a credit to James. As a first time buyer he was aware that I was pushing for completion before the free stamp duty date had expired, so he was very prompt at keeping me aware of the going on's during the purchase and always there to answer any question's I may of had. An all round excellent service!

    GENERALLY SERVICE WAS GOOD ALTHOUGH EVERYTHING HAPPENED AT THE LAST MINUTE IN A RUSH BUT THE REVISED DATE WAS ACHIEVED.
    THE TIME FROM FIRST CONTACT TO ACTUAL LETTING WAS VERY SHORT WHICH WAS GOOD.

    Rob identified a problem with a potential tenant whcih I would probably not have discovered myself.

    When that tenant was lost he quickly arranged new viewings but was then very understanding when another problem arose and the property had to be withdrawn from the market because the original tenant remained in situ instead of leaving.

    Annette is just great as a letting agent. She lets me know at once of any issues, usually with details of what she's done about it, or asking me to agree a plan of action. Then she just sorts it! When we need to speak on the phone she's friendly and helpful, very supportive when a tenant let us down. Can't recommend her highly enough.

    Professional looking set up, but clearly out to make money out of the tenant at every turn. Everything has a charge, often prices way beyond what is reasonable.
    Initial agent was way out of her depth. No empathy with the client at all. Completely failed to understand the circumstances of the tenant and the urgency to get everything agreed in order to facilitate an international move. She fell back on 'oh it's the process' as her excuse all the time. After confusion over what white goods were included that ended up leaving the tenant out of pocket, she again utterly failed to manage the situation and resorted to lying to try and avoid any responsibility. Eventually the situation was resolved by a Regional Manager but only after the tenant complained directly to the MD of the company. The in-house problem escalation process is useless as none of them seem to communicate with each other and it takes far too long.

    The property manager Annette, did a good job trying to resolve issues but was hampered by the very poor in-house communication. Some minor issue remain unresolved.

    As a first time 'renter' both myself and my wife were unsure about the entire process of renting a property from a private Landlord and had never had an experience with an estate agent full stop.

    In dealing with Romans we found the perfect property first time and both Michae & Tim in the Reading branch guided us through the whole process from viewing to moving in. We asked plenty of questions and were always dealt with in a polite, patient and professional manner to the point where i'd say these guys became 'friends'.

    Both of these guys bent over backwards to assist us when we needed help with obtaining early access to the property and our overall opinion of Romans is incredibly high after this experience.

    In a world where people are extremely quick to complain, I believe outstanding service should also be praised hence this glowing review.

    Both myself and my wife would recommend the Romans Tilehurst Lettings team to anyone!

    James was very helpful from the moment we put the property in Romans hands. We needed a quick sale and James advised on a price and we had a first time buyer within 5 days During these 5 days he had shown at least 5 couples around the property.     As a first time buyer I was happy with the service from Romans. They worked hard to ensure I could view the property when I had time, which at times was late in the evening or on a Sunday. They were always contactable and any messgaes I left were returned within 20-30 minutes.

    When it came to exchange and completetion Alun was very helpful, guiding us through the process and pushing things along when necessary. Romans obviously has a good relationship with the vendor and were able to go to them with all of our questions / concerns.

    I would use Romans again.

    I was facing problems with another Sales and Lettings Agent. I found Romans very helpful and supportive towards my situation.

    Both Bernadette and George took time out and went throught possible options to move things forward.

    Bernadette has also been in touch recently for an update to see how things were. Its nice to know she kept in touch, which was very helpful.

    I can honestly say that I would not reccoment Romans to anyone. The negotiator (Jodie Kelly) in my words was totally unhelpful. She did not come across as helpful or prepared at all. A few examples of this are:
    1. When looking round the property she didn't really know anything about it i.e. what was included with the property and if there would be any maintenence work done before we moved in - which there was very minimal.

    Elliott was informative, helpful, did everything he said would be done to promote and complete the sale of my late mothers property. I was kept informed of all viewings and the results of such viewings. I was also copied promotional material associated with the sale which was well presented. Other Romans staff with whom I had dealings Daniel and Luke were also helpful and did exactly what they said they would do. Overall an excellent service and I would have no hesitation in using Romans again.

Both Ben and Richard were in constant contact, replied to my calls/emails promptly and successfully let my property for me.     Romans are very thorough. Lynne in particular who deals with admin, is excellent, friendly and utterly reliable. Robert has also kept us up to date and given feedback about viewings. Sometimes the turnover of staff means you deal with someone new each time you call, but as an office, they are aware of what is going on and seem to have good communications. They are always very welcoming when visiting and have been supportive when issues have arisen with difficult tennants.

    Daniel helped Mr Young in many ways. When Mr Young was taken ill, Daniel rang to inquire about his health and he also showed prospective buyers round the house when Mr Young was in hospital and I was unable to be at the property. He was very well presented, polite and courteous. He gave Mr Young the feedback from the buyers whether it was good or bad and he kept him up to date on what was happening and on how many viewings he had arranged. He also answered questions from Mr Young truthfully for which Mr Young was grateful for.
    Daniel is definitely an agent we would work with again if the need arose.

    Both Mr Young and myself agree that we made the right decision in using Romans and would highly recommend them to other people either buying or letting a property.

    Steve Adby is commercially sophisticated, diligent and highly credible. He knows his market extremely well and at all times provided first class, consistent and committed advice and support throughout our successful sale process. Unusually, there were no "surprises".

    He was very ably supported by Paula Thomson, who has both the patience of a saint and the relentlessness required to proactively manage and close her enormous transactional workload.

    Both also managed to work at all times with no shortage of good humour and positivity.

    I am pleased with the service my partner and I received from Mr Strzadala. He made us aware of properties available on the market on a regular basis. Once having an offer accepted on the property he remained helpful arranging for us other visits of the house. We could always rely on him to get back to us quickly when any queries were made.
