My partner and I came in to your offices in Fleet, where we were greeted by Abie, who was very professional and friendly throughout....All through our our dealings with Romans, Abbie kept us informed and was a real pleassure to deal with. She is a credit to the company and whilst I know she has not been with you long, she is a real asset to you.
When my partner and I start to look to buy a property you will be the first people we contact because of her.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank yourself, Luke and the team at Romans for your professional and enthusiastic approach. From the initial valuation you were convinced of your ability to sell our house quickly and in getting the asking price. Importantly your knowledge of the local market managed to get us nearly 10% more than the valuation from another local estate agent. The Open House strategy proved the deciding factor in generating the interest and resulted in an offer straight afterwards.

Charles was excellent, we drove by the property to see if it suited our needs before arranging a viewing - Charles made a significant effort to come straight out to enable us to view was much appreciated as we were due to travel back to Cornwall later that day. All parts of the transaction went very smoothly with Romans' Nick as the purchase coordinator always phoning back promptly when he was not available to take our call. Branch manager Mark reinforced the overall professionalism by hand delivering the keys upon completion. Overall we were a delighted customer.

Excellent communication, especially dealing with some specific requests I had. Very efficient at sorting out some last minute difficulties to a satisfactorary conclusion. I certainly have the impression that Katherine is a dedicated hard working and committed member of staff. A real asset to the branch, well done - i wish my own staff at work were so professional and committed to doing a great job.

   My girlfriend and I recently rented a property through the camberley branch of Romans. Matt and his team were brilliant at getting us in and sorted as quickly as possible. Matt was there what felt like 24/7 to answer any questions or queries we had and made the move a pleasant experience. I can highly recommend Matt and his team if you are thinking of renting in the area!!

   I would like to say how impressed I have been with the efficiency of Lori, being a first time landlady and having teething problems with the letting of my property,i.e. gas and electic issues, she has dealt with the issues promptly and efficiently. Having spoken to other members of staff previously and no action had been taken, she has put my mind to rest.

   Kelly is ALWAYS extremely helpful and prompt in response to any enquiry. She schedules work to be done and advises that this will be taking place.
   On our first 4 month site inspection, I pointed out a bathroom door that could not be accessed (a Jack and Jill type) via a bedroom because the carpet had been laid to block the door. It wasn't a major issue, but it would be 'nice' to have the en-suite access...
   Kelly got straight on the phone to the carpet fitter. He was there that very afternoon. Took an inch or so off the bottom of the door and fitted carpet. A1 EXCELLLENT service. Above and beyond really.

   From the tradespeople I have met, Kelly seems to inspire great loyalty and they will go out of their way for her. It really helps to show Romans as an agent in a good light. Well Done Kelly!

   We were really impressed with the way that both Elliott and Daniel at Romans dealt with the sale of our property. They managed to get lots of viewings straight away and were always available at the end of the phone. They were polite and cheerful and really tried their best to show all the best points to the viewers. Whenever we had any questions they were always ready to answer.
   Daniel in particular was excellent when negotiating with potential buyers and managed to get us a really good price, only less than £5000 than the asking price.
   When we were sent photo's initially I was not sure about some of them and immediately they sent round somebody to take more photo's and put those straight onto the web.
   I would not hesitate to recommend the Yateley branch to any other potential buyer.

    Annette has contacted us immediately whenever a situation has arisen and given us all the information we have needed in a concise and informative way. She has also been happy to gather a couple of quotes from different contractors to ensure we were always paying the market rate for any work done. For simple matters, she has got on with sorting it out without bothering us with the details. All in all we have been very happy with how she has managed our property for the last 6 months.

    Every aspect of service provided by Elliott and the team at Romans was excellent. I was helping my elderly relation sell her property and, living 100 miles away, I was very grateful for the consistent help from Elliott who kept both me and my relation informed of progress at all times. Elliott was thoughtful, kind and considerate to my elderly relation, which was hugely appreciated. He even drove her to an appointment with her solicitor and arranged for someone to check the boiler when he could smell gas. He was always available for any queries, returning calls quickly and always helpful, supportive and positive. I was really grateful for all his help and would recommend Elliott and Romans very highly indeed.

    All dealings with both estate agents have been excellent, both very informative, proactive and timely in their responses to any queries I had. The only issues I have had has been with trying to get a quote from the solicitors service Romans can provide themselves; they did not call at any of the requested times and repeatedly called the wrong number to the one I requested to be called on, which would be a shame to lose potential solicitor business due to such small errors.

    I was very impressed by Charlotte's efficiency and kindness in dealing with my tenancy. She was able to discuss my options re: guarantor, paying rent in advance etc, as I am currently on maternity leave. Whilst the system itself is somewhat user unfriendly, Charlotte made the process a lot easier for me to handle.

    I was quickly made confident after emigrating that my property in Wokingham was being looked after. I received all status reports with photo's on time so I could see for myself that the property was being looked after and rent paid on time. When a repair was needed it was quickly arranged - and for a very reasonable price. There have been no hidden extra's but just good service. I often forget I have a property in Wokingham as I have very little to do with it - it is being managed for me so well.

    I had my house up for sale for 18 months with various online estate agents and other local estage agents, and viewings were few and far between, and the house never looked like selling and didn't sell. I took it off the market to lick my wounds, and then six months later put it back up for sale with just my local Romans branch. Viewings were plentiful and within a month my house had sold! If only I had gone with them in the first place!

    As landlords, we have been dealing with Mrs Sharon Tubb at Romans for over 10 years. During this time, Sharon has taken excellent care of our house (as though it were her own) and as we live abroad, we have put our full trust in her to look after our property. From finding good tenants, dealing with the continuous maintenance, regular inspections and ensuring the rent is paid on time, to taking the stress away from letting a property, Sharon has done all of this with a good sense of humour along with excellent communication skills and continuous professionalism. We would have no hesitation in recommending Romans to any landlord/tenant for their excellent service.

    Found the property we liked through romans, unfortunatly, it was taken off the market, not romans fault per-sae but thats not the issue here.

    I put forward an offer, which wasnt accepted - instead we were told if the vendor could find a property for a price that allows for our offer, it may get accpeted-odd-but we hung on.

    over a MONTH later i was still having to make constant calls for updates (i shouldnt have to ring you guys) which got very boring in the end, especially as all staff in the office were unable to speak to me about this property apart from 1 person who was never in the... (read more)

    The reason I chose Romans was that the initial visit by Paul Westmoreland was so unlike the other agents I had to value the property. His demeanour was not that of a stereotypical estate agent - he was honest, professional and did not make any innuendo about other agents to reflect positively on Romans. In all, I felt very comfortable at that first stage of selling my home with Romans. I felt from Paul that the Bracknell office would handle the sale with me honestly, warts and all.

    We were at an open house in a well sought after location and offered on that property and our offer was accepted. We were very anxious and Neil kept us very well informed on what was happening as it took a couple of days for the decision. Since then I have been in constant touch with Neil asking questions and he has been extremely helpful. I have been given options of using Romans conveyancing, surveyors & mortgage advisors with an explanation as to why using them might be beneficial but have not been pushed into using them. So far my experience has been very positive and I am also thinking of using Romans as letting agents for my current property.

    coordinated the letting ,management and maintenance of our
    two flats for a long time -more than ten years.. while we've been abroad
    Contact is usually by email and very rapid , sometimes by phone

    Alun was very helpful and proactive from us approaching him to sell the property to the deal being finalised. He was always available on the phone to discuss how the property was doing on the various websites it was listed on as well as the general level of interest in the property.

    We actually moved from another local estate agent because they had not offered the level of 'push' for the property that we had expected, but this was not an issue when we dealt with Romans and they found us a buyer despite the stagnant market.

    I was kept informed of everything that was happing with the house.
    As I wasn't present for viewings I was given detailed follow up within 24hrs of the viewing.
    Staff always friendly and timely.
    Scott was very candid with me about the current market place and allowed me to challenge him on certain aspects of my sale. This helped me keep a realistic look on the sell.
