I dont think I can add anything new to what have been said below. As tenants we had a very poor experience as these guys seem to think that management is about just taking your money. When we moved into the property it was a tip, these guys did not bother checking the house after previous tenants moved out. At some point as a curtsey (yep we are stupid I know) we have made a spare copy of keys for them (these guys did not have them!) now one year later they still have not repaid the money. Any problems around the house, boiler, cooker take a few weeks to resolve. Taking into account that these guys ONLY job is property management (contracts and sales are handled separately) I don't get how can the be THAT bad!

We had to get our own keys cut also.
It's a year that they've had the receipt and still no cash back.
Is this the sort of thing that an ombudsman should be notified about? Or watchdog?

Same here. Our apt was not checked or cleaned (even tho they said it would be professionally cleaned)...for godssake they did not even know what furniture belonged to the apt and which ones to the previous tenant... Awful.

am very disappointed that your experience with Atkinson Mcleod has been so poor. Atkinson Mcleod deal with over 2000 tenancies per annum and have literally thousands of Happy tenants and Landlords according to our customer surveys. However even one unhappy customer is too many , I am personally responsible for all complaints at Atkinson Mcleod.
