I would not use the agent again

These guys have good intentions, but ultimately, are just a bit useless. Despite signing the contract with them, almost every problem you approach them with is apparently not their business, and you personally need to get in touch with someone else.
When you do finally convince them that they need to do something, it could take weeks for them to actually get around to doing it. And then you need to watch out that whoever they've sent round has remembered to lock the place up again after they've left.
I genuinely don't believe that these guys are out to fleece you, but they don't seem to be bothered about making life particularly easy for you, considering you're the customer and all that.

We are sorry to come across this comment, but also confused whether it is genuine or whether Max may have the wrong agency as we have only ever had one tenant called Max and that was 5 years before this review was added.
If Max can give us some more details perhaps we could respond to his issues more positively.
We take great care to ensure all tenants are aware who is responsible for the management of their properties. Sometimes it is us and sometimes it will be individual landlords. Where we are responsible all issues are dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible.
All the contractors used by Lester Smith are thoroughly vetted and we have never received complaints about properties not being locked up properly.
