"If only I had known about this site before.." the most common comment we get posted from reviewers that have had a bad experience. So in response, allAgents has introduced the "transparent agent" scheme to help identify agents that are open about independent customer feedback and have nothing to hide. The scheme is FREE to join and as an incentive, allAgents will provide them with FREE LANDLORD & VENDOR ENQUIRES.
Click here and Join the 1000s of Delighted customers that have had success with our recommended agents. If however you do choose to use RE/MAX, please make them aware of the scheme and ask them to get in touch if they want to become a member. - Learn more about 'Transparent Agents'.

Dreadful. American firm and they even have a bad reputation in the US as well.
Most of the stuff on their website does not exist, staff don't know what they are talking about. Asked if I could register with them as a buyer and they seemed amazed at the suggestion and said they 'didn't work like that'.
Eventually managed to get them to take my details and they said they would ring me back when something became available. That was the last I heard till 6 months later when I got a phone call and an email asking if I wanted to go to a seminar to train to be an estate agent!

I must be missing something somewhere. If a firm is as dreadful as you say how on earth have they grown to having more than 7000 offices worldwide. Obviously there must be a hell of a lot of satisfied sellers and buyers out there.

And the evidence for "bad reputation in the US" is what, exactly?

Because gazbo, thats what they tell you so that agents keep paying them, anyway even gerbils in front of computers know you lot are remax gangbangers trying to defend their fledgling careers at playing estate agents, if people read these comments who are thinking about buying a franchise or becoming an agent it might change their mind. office owners cant survive without fee paying agents and remax need new frachisees as they get a cut of everything. Some agents big up remax simply so they wont lose sellers business or maybe because they feel stpid for paying over thousands of pounds for substandard training its all academic really does anyone want these people selling their houses knowing this information. Remax earn from offices by recruiting them as franchisees, the offices earn from the agents by recruiting them as estaeagents regardless of back ground each one is worth about a grand a month in fees alone, the agent earns from the sellers of property by comissions etc , so how does it feel any sellers out there to be the bottom of of a rancid pyramid scheme, now imagine what its like when they foul up and cost you in a big way because some gorilla of a doorman decides one night to have a change of career and sell houses... well thats remax and thats the sort of personthat you let into your home and trust with your biggets asset.
