I would not use the agent again

I made an offer on a property that had been on the market for over 6 moths and no bids. I offered asking price (200k.. >75%cash and less than 25% loan). My offer was accepted by vendor.
As its a bad time for selling, I was more than a little surprised when the very next day rightmove advised me that the vendor had now accepted better offer and asked me if I would like to increase my offer ?...
