I would not use the agent again

When selling my house with Keatons, I had a couple of people interested in buying. However, Keatons lied to one of them telling them I would refuse to sell them my house unless they put their flat on the market with Keatons too. This was definitely not in my interest, as with two buyers it would go to sealed bids. Luckily the buyer guessed that this sounded unlikely and contacted me directly and I told them this was a lie.

I am responding to the first comment. Who should Keatons be reported to? Estate agents are not regulated. The Property Ombudsman provides a voluntary membership for recommended estate agents, surprise, surprise, Keatons are not members!
