I have never received such poor service. My last house purchase everything went through in 3 weeks.

This time we have been stuck since January, we were due to move end of may yet we are now looking at mid July.

I have had issues with the help to buy/mortgage initially the in house mortgage advisor worked it all but last month I was told I would either need to find a cheap house (having had one built from plan to my specifications) or increase my deposit by £4000 (luckily I was in a position to do this)

Now I am getting no communication regarding the exchange and completion yet my house build is finished and sat waiting for us. My mortgage was agreed over a week ago and they chased it for 5 days finally I gave in and called the bank and my mortgage was sent to my solicitor. I have had to call 3 times a day to chase this as it feels like it's left to one side until I kick off.

I try to contact my mortgage advisor to be told he's always in a meeting (never working on my purchase)

The whole process couldn't be more stressful!
What agent could do to change your mind?
I feel annoyed paying the fees due to the amount of my own time I have taken out of work to chase up the work they should be doing on my behalf. I feel I'm owed at least a partial refund but I fear chasing this may be a little too much for my stress levels!
