I would not use the agent again

Whether you are a prospective tenant or landlord avoid Clyde Property at all cost! I rented one of their properties for two years. In that time I have found their staff to be extremly unhelpful and the customer service of their property management center abysmal if not non-existent. If you have any type of issue you won’t be able to get anyone to take ownership of the problem. You will be passed from pillar to post and spend days waiting to get any sort of help. You’ll eventually find out that you are paying for a service that simply does not exist. So why go through them?
Clyde property hires contractors who give them no account of what they do. For example in the last few years plumbers have come to do a simple job, like a leaking tap, and have made 3 visits to get this done ! Of course the landlord is charged for each of these visits. A real scam in my opinion. They also charge landlords for monthly flat inspections. These, in my experience, are only done very sporadically, if at all. So if you are a landlord you are not putting your investment into good hands with Clyde.
As a tenant here is one example of the many futile conversations I have had with them. There was an occasion when I had no hot water in the bathroom. After spending 7 days trying to get some assistance I was told that the matter was important but not urgent. More than a week without a shower and no support or assistance whatsoever! Simply unacceptable.
