I would not use the agent again

OMG, this estate agent doesn't even deserve 1 star. Not only was the property NOT secure when we moved in (we couldn't lock back door, and the front door could be pushed open) they did nothing about it for nearly a week. They had been constantly rude, calling us names, for example, when we we're planning to leave and rent elsewhere, they called us 'council estate, housing benefit tenants'. This was completely un called for, and they are not proffessional in any way! They don't know what they're doing, and obviously dont know how to communicate without being rude/nasty.
We waited 4 months for the return of our deposit, and only got it back because we claimed through the DPS. They are now saying they're taking us to court for the 60.00 check out fee, but we are not paying as they made me (38 weeks pregnant at the time) stand outside and wait for 2 hours and didn't show, so why should we pay??!
I hope everyone takes note of the comments and AVOIDS THEM! They are the worst, most rude and unproffessional company I have ever come accross!!!!!!

Chris and Laura have fraudulently obtained thier deposit back from the DPS and are now being taken to court - No one was left standing in the rain anywhere! If you don't want to abide by the terms and conditions of your contract then don't sign and move into the property. After being threatened by the mother in law from hell and disrepected by our tenants we were more than happy for our 'nightmare' tenants to leave to find new pleasant tenants to deal with. Unfortunately you can't please all people all of the time. We deal with over 300 properties and sometimes we have to say no!

Thank goodness the DPS now exists and that tenant's deposits are protected from the actions of unscrupulous landlords/letting agencies which seem to think the money is theirs to keep from the moment they get it.
