I would not use the agent again

97 London Road Langley,
Services:
Lettings (as a Landlord)

Hi there,
I am a victim of Ashley Brown. I am a landlord and Ashley Brown not only selected an inappropriate tenant who I’m trying to evict now, but they also failed to register the tenant’s deposit, which they owe me now as outstanding rent. I have had to register the deposit myself of my own money as otherwise the tenant could claim up to 3 times this amount. I have faced a significant financial loss and now I’m facing eviction proceedings to regain possession of my property.
Ashley Brown are now saying they’ve gone bankrupt but I do not believe that is true, they are just trying to bury the debt under the carpet. His companies are still active and the deposit should have been kept in a separate account.
I have tried everything I could from reporting Joe Joshi to the Police, Citizen’s Advice Bureau, Trading Standards, the Property Ombudsman, BBC Watchdog, local paper.... and nobody helps. The police doesn’t want to get involved and if you go through the Court route on your own, it’s quite probable you will end up losing more money than what it’s recovered.
I have been speaking to a contact specialised in fraud and they could help as I mentioned there are 24 people on the Facebook group (look for Ashley Brown Victims on Facebook) and many more who could be traced online, who have been victims of Ashley Brown’s rogue trading and who are owed money.
The best thing to do is to create a Steering Committee and join forces to investigate Joe Joshi. It won't cost us anything to start with as they do it on a risk basis but they will take 50% of whatever is recovered. If we go ahead with this it will mean that all the people who want to be involved in this initiative must meet face to face and be clever about it. At the moment all I require is your full name, contact details so I can contact you to meet up (mob, landline and email address). Once I contact you we can discuss the amount that Ashley Brown owes you and the reason why they owe you that money.
My aim is to stop Joe Joshi trading. He has NOT gone bankrupt and we have to prove that and make a case for the Financial Services Authority for him and all his related companies to stop trading. Not sure if we will get our money back, but I think it’s worth a try.
If you are interested, please email me to ashleybrownvictim@gmail.com with just your contact details and I’ll get back to you.
I look forward to hearing from you
Regards
Ashley Brown Victim (please note I’m keeping my anonymity for security purposes)
