I would not use the agent again

Although Mark Beaumont Lettings appear to be very personable, friendly and helpful to start. This standard of service is very short lived after money has changed hands!
After renting a house with 4 others in the local area most of our dealings went through our Landlord rather than Beaumonts. This I am very grateful of as at the end of contract we returned to have our deposit released, to find a complete shambles of an organisation. To reflect on the last review posted, the integrity of each estate agent was shameless!!! Each day the 5 of us would contact Beaumonts for information and latest updates on the deposit! Only to be fed contradicting, lies, and to be brushed aside with the company slogan "I'll do it now". However we are now approaching a month since moving out and we are no closer to getting our deposits back, as far as we can see.
Each phone call was met with a string of excuses given by the estate agent as to why it was each of his colleagues fault and not his own. Integrity Mr Beaumont? MY A***!
Dealing with a company whose employees struggle with common administration (such as remembering how much deposit is held+owed) and often resort to mythical answers is frustrating and unprofessional!
How its made 10 years surfing the wave of deceit is amazing!
