I would not use the agent again

Absolute nightmare, told us that they'd contacted the landlord and we could have a cat....landlord found out we had a cat and then suddenly we were given a section 21 notice, we gave them one months notice that we were leaving, the girl on the phone had accepted our verbal notice and then when we left they told us we couoldn't leave for another month....we have already moved out and am considering taking them to court, completely distressed and upset.....just don't do it and the fact that there are so many review on here saying that they are rubbish says it all!

Dear Sadia,
We had exactly the same issue when it came to our verbal notice of vacating our flat in Aberdeen. They had accepted and then told us to drop off the keys that week, which we did. When we ewent into their aberdeen branch office they were confused as to why we had given them the keys to the flat, i had to remind them of the fact that we were leaving and that we had given them notice well in advance over the phone.She said that they had no record of this and that we now have to pay an extra months rent! this is out of the question as we are students and do not have the money to pay. Anyhow We are considering taking legal action and would love to hear from you.

Hey, I didn't get notice that you posted this action and have just randomly read it as we are still waiting for our deposit back. Would love to discuss this futher as they have caused us alot of hassle.....let me know if you want to discuss further, we are considering contacting everyone on this page, starting a facebook group, and also maybe seeing if collectively a group of us could take them to court. They think that they can get away with this, but can't
