Leaders has not joined our 'transparent agent' scheme yet.

"If only I had known about this site before.." the most common comment we get posted from reviewers that have had a bad experience. So in response, allAgents has introduced the "transparent agent" scheme to help identify agents that are open about independent customer feedback and have nothing to hide. The scheme is FREE to join and as an incentive, allAgents will provide them with FREE LANDLORD & VENDOR ENQUIRES.

I would not use the agent again

Services:
Lettings (as a Tenant)

Unbelievably poor.

They kept my deposit due to having 'upgraded their computer system during my tenancy' and so had no record of my payment.

I couldn't find the receipt and so had no proof that i had paid it, although try moving into one of their flats without paying a deposit and see how far you get.

Anecdotal evidence suggests that getting your deposit back from leaders is considered worthy of celebration.

These days all deposit have to be registered, however given the date of your post your deposit would not have fallen into the scheme.

A note to any tenant, ensure you always get a certificate proving that your deposit is registered. There are still agents and landlords not registering, which is against the law!

Agreed, we had to fight to get our deposit back by threatening to take them to court for a) asking for two months notice and not one and b) entering the property without our permission while we werent there to do stuff like turn off our hot water/heating
