I would not use the agent again

Had experience with this agency few months ago. I just came from a scam from another "agency" and I went to black katz since, even little bit expensive, they had the reputation to be serious.I ahve to say overall they are good organised. The guy was nice showing me the flat and he gave me a price. I accepted and when we went into the office to sign the price was already increased 5£/week since a colleague said that the landlord increased the price (asked to the landlord and was not true) . Anyway I signed on condition that the landlord approved to store my bicycle. they said that they contacted the landlord who approved (when I met the landlord on the first day he said they never contacted him, even if, only after I explained the situation, he approved). The following day I gave deposit again they called me while I was at work several time saying that the landlord found another offer with another agency that was further 5£/week more. So I could loose the flat. This time I did not want such increase, with risk I could loose the flat, the stress and with several occasion lost since I already gave the deposit and I did not look other flats. In the evening the guy from agency called me and said that the landlord gave up without any further increase. Of course I asked to the landlord when I met him and was not true at all. I have to say that about documents and bureaucracy they were efficient and also the landlord is quite good. I would not go again with them even they were efficient in terms of organisations. Is not about the few pounds per week, I just think is not professional work in that way.

I can assure you that we are a very honest, open and customer driven business which is why we get so many good reviews.

Andrew, funny that you get "so many good reviews", since you write all of them yourselves! Your agency is as good as a scam and you run your business like a person I wouldn't want my worst enemy to come into touch with. People like you make London and this world an unhappier place.

I'm the Nico who posted the first comment. Actually I DID NOT WRITE the third and that person is just a case of homonymy. In order to answer to Andrew I can say that my story is true and people that will read will valuate. I did not say it was not honest. what they did to me was maybe "at border" but was honest in terms of law. But for sure they were unprofessional. Black katz have quite high agency fee and for sure you do not get the professionalism you pay. Nad please do not try to say that was agent's problem...On your website in the landlord zone is underlined (even if in very small type) that you use all the way to push the rent up. If methods you using is to stress people that also paid an expensive fee...readers of comment will evaluate the professionalism and all things you said.
About the good reviewers...lucky them. good sellers are those who make the purchaser "stupid and happy". At least you make me stupid but not happy...
