I would not use the agent again

Where's the zero star option? Friendly sales team, but once you're locked in to a contract, you're in big, big trouble.
I rented a 'managed by Foxtons' property in Holland Park. Despite broken appliances when we moved in, nothing was done. Our property 'manager' ignored our repeated calls when a leak sprung from the flat above. As a result, two weeks later the bathroom ceiling caved in. They apologised for their lack of action, but did not fix it - we were moving out soon anyway. Then they kept our deposit, without explanation.
In hindsight their flashy offices and fleets of cars should be a tell-tale sign: somebody's getting robbed. With Foxton's, it's pretty much everybody.
Even without a horror story like mine, their fees are absolutely absurd - you can do better with any other estate agent out there.
Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Simply, never go with them. They shouldn't be authorised to operate!
