We sold our old house and bought our new house through Patrick Williams and found them helpful every step of the way. Our previous house had 'issues', which meant it wasn't the easiest property to sell, but all the staff worked tirelessly to get us a sale. They know their patch and were able to offer sound advice and support and were always very pleasant to deal with. We'd definitely use them again.

Karen was everything I expected: calm, professional and very kind. We communicated via phone and email as I was living up north. She even came round with the vendor to meet me when I was down. I wish my purchasing agent had been like her! She made the whole thing easy..

Patrick Williams were extremely helpful through every stage of a very protracted purchase. They showed great professionalism and consideration for us as first time buyers, assisting wherever necessary and taking time out to explain anything we didn't understand.

first of all Karen came to do an evaluation. She gave honest and positive feedback about the property and asked intelligent questions about the key selling points. Then David visited to take some excellent photos of the property. Very quickly they got a number of viewings arranged. We got useful feedback from all the viewings they arranged and we were lucky to get two interested people within a few weeks. Furthermore, we purchased our next property with Patrick Williams in Pangbourne. We made use of the financial advisor (Sara Jackson) next door to arrange our next mortgage and insurance, and were surprised to get such a good deal.
PW managed the sale and purchase well and maintained a professional service for us, always available and quick to react to our random questions. Overall we were really happy with the whole process.Was this review helpful? Yes

We were delighted with the efficient friendly service we received from the staff.
They made every effort to secure viewings of the property to suit us.We were always made to feel that nothing was too much trouble for them They were very helpful with the move and have continued to give us useful after sale help, advising us on workmen as well as local tradespeople. Richard Goodwin, who was our lead contact, went well beyond the call of duty in nursing our difficult sale through to a successful conclusion. It took over five months from accepting the offer to exchange of contracts, and his cheerful and tactful negotiations with our buyer and with other agents and solicitors in the chain kept the transaction alive.
When necessary other members of the branch kept us well informed at all stages, and any queries were handled promptly and in an efficient and friendly manner.

I found Patrick Williams to be very helpful in the early stages of my sale process. They viewed the house and valued it appropriately although slightly lower than other agents and the final sale price was, in fact, a little higher than their original valuation. Their costs were competitive and I was very pleased indeed that they found my buyer on the very first viewing of my house just a few days after it had gone onto the market.
After that however I did feel that they were not as proactive at driving the sale through, once we had our chain in place, as I would have liked and felt that other Estate Agents in the chain seemed to be doing more to reach our completion date.
Having said that, overall I found their service to be knowledgeable, helpful and friendly and given that they found my buyer so quickly I was generally very satisfied.

I cannot praise Patrick Williams enough for the fantastic service they have provided whilst recently selling my property. They have been completely professional througout the whole process and have kept me fully informed every step of the way. They provided feedback from viewings and once an offer was achieved on the property, they have managed the whole process ensuring they kept me regularly updated. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Julian, Duncan and the team. Keep up the good work!

Most of my dealings were with David , at the Oxford road branch , from the first I felt that the information he was giving me regarding the properties was both realistic and truthful . His manner was always pleasant , and very helpful , phones calls were always returned promptly , even if it was to say I have not got the answer for you yet , but I am still working on it . When the process seemed to have come to a standstill at one point , David was instrumental in getting things on track and moving again . I only had brief dealings with Richard in David 's absence , and he was also very helpful , met Karen only once , she was also very friendly .David just had a really genuine vibe about , which has not been my experience with other estate agents , even my no nonsense two older brothers who attended the viewings with me thought he was ok .
As a first time buyer , the team at the Oxford road branch , contributed to making the whole buying process that much smoother .Was this review helpful? Yes

The agent had to deal with various difficulties and the process took a very long time. The other parties were slow in getting everything arranged, but I chased endlessly. I appreciate that the agent did not get short with me at any point and remained professional and considerate. It was great service and I couldn't be more pleased (that it is over!)..

David is an absolute star! Hes extremely reliable, friendly, honest and impartial - TRULY impartial, ie advising me which would eb the right property for me and a "good deal" instead of just trying to flog the most expensive property which is what I have experienced with other companies. this is really refreshing and makes me certain I would definitely work with him if I ever want to buy or sell a property. I have recommended him to the folks I know too. My process of buying has been difficult largely due to my solicitors being extremely slow and pretty darn useless - but David has... (read more)

I have used Patrick Williams twice now to sell houses foer me And bothtimes I can't fault the service and help that i had fron Richard and his team.
They were always prompt and polite when dealing with viewings and supplying feedback and when offers were made they carried their sevice through until completion without anydelay.

Patrick Williams have been looking after my property for just over 2 years. As I live overseas I rely on email communication for receipts of monthly accounts and any issues. All the staff there have been consistant, reliable and go the extra mile to help with issues. I'd recommend PW. to anyone.

Patrick Williams (David King) has provided excellent service in managing our property for the past 2 years. It is a pleasure to find a agent who actually does what he states and completes this in a very professional manner. David went the extra mile to assist us, especially as our previous agent left the country unannounced, helping us sort out the existing tenants and then coordinating the update of our property, before re-letting it. All of this completed whilst we have been overseas. Any issues with our property have been dealt with promptly through David's network of trade contacts.

I have only positive things to say about Richard and his staff, particularly Karen. I found them at all times to be professional and honest. I felt I could trust Richard from the first time I met him and this certainly proved to be true! They were proactive and very good at communicating what was going on so that I didn't have to chase for information. It is a testament to Richard that the purchaser of our home is now using him to sell the home again as he obviously found him good to use as a buyer also.

The experience I have had with Patrick Williams is first class.
I have moved several tomes and it has always been a painful procedure, however David King at PW was extremely fast in response to my questions and issues which really put me at ease.
Although fees are not the cheapest in the Market the service I have received is second to none and well worth paying for.
I could not recommend them highly enough and I would look to use them over anyone else in the future.

We signed up for an 8 week contract with Patrick Williams (Oxford Rd Branch) with 21 day 'get out' policy.
The communication was non existant.
In the time we were signed up with them (total 11 weeks) they produced 1 viewing, this viewing was useless as the people were looking for a 3 bedroom property and ours is a 2!!
We twice reduced our price, without any prompting from Patrick Williams... Really they should have asked us about reducing the price.
A family member had also signed up to Patrick Williams and she had a similar experience. There is no way we would ever use them again... Steer Clear!!!!Was this review helpful? Yes
