I have just left a property after two years with Patrick Gardner managing it. I received good service form them throughout and even when my boiler broke down they got it fixed over xmas.

Patrick gardner continually lied about the situation regarding the flat I rented from them. Their staff are rude and arrogant. I lost part of my deposit because one member of staff couldn't be bothered to make one phone call. Terrible company and terrible service.

Absolutely horrible experience with Patrick Gardner & Co. They kept introducing charges they hadn't told us about before we could sign the lease, totalled over £200 for things like them printing out the standard contract, and they also charged for numerous other things when we were moving out.

In the end we had to take help from the Council to get them to return our deposit. It took over two months for them to return this, and they kept ignoring our letters and phone calls about it.

Overall a very unprofessional outfit, and our perception was that the staff was rude, unknowledgeable, and systematically misled us about what our rights and obligations were under the lease.
