I have found the service provided by Hadley Lyas, Coulsdon branch, in selling my property, and subsequently Ginette Bronsdon, Caterham on the Hill, in progressing the sale through to contract exchange, to be excellent. Both were very professional and provided (despite a potential conflict of interest) impartial advice, and dealt effectively with the other parties to ensure successful closure of the deal. In terms of the progression to contract exchange, this property chain wasn't straightforward, and the issues with the house I was purchasing were not straightforward; Ginette was highly proactive and great at providing balanced views which helped the transaction to make progress. This was despite the fact that Ginette in theory did not have to get involved in my house purchase (only in the sale), yet she went out of her way to assist. I would very much recommend these branches of Park & Bailey to anyone selling or buying a property.

I cannot praise Park & Bailey, High Street Caterham highly enough in their dealings with the recent sale of my property. Liam was extremely helpful in initially drawing up the details and then he made sure the sales team visited the property so they were all aware of what they were selling. They found me a buyer very quickly and through no fault of their own, the process turned sour because of very difficult buyers. Without Joan and Ginette from the Progressions Team, I doubt I would have kept my sanity! Joan, in particular, soothed my fevered brow on numerous occasions, working tirelessly to answer difficult questions and situations that were presented to us and I owe it to her that I survived the whole process. Thank you to all of you, you were wonderful!! I would recommend you to anyone.

Park and Bailey Woldingham gave excellent service in the purchase of our property. They were very responsive, happy to accommodate second and third viewings on the property and knowledgeable about the area. They were also extremely good post-offer and their sales progression office played a big part in getting the purchase over the line.

I found them very proactive in finding suitable people to view our house and were very pleased in how quickly we found a buyer. Their after sales team were very hard working and efficient and offered a great service.

Since we started dealing with Park and Bailey in Caterham it has come to our understanding why so many people cannot stand estate agents. Now I'm sure many estate agents work hard, however our experience with Park and Bailey in Cateham has been an absolute nightmare. They definately do not deserve any fee's they will legally have to get from the sale of the property. Each person who we spoke to told us a different storey and they misunderstood a completion date leaving us without a plcae to stay for 3 weeks. We found them rude when we chased up our phone calls and extremely unhelpful.... (read more)

The process of buying a house was made easy. From the start the staff in Woldingham were curteous, polite and helpful, we mainly dealt with Krystyna. Once our offer had been accepted and the survey booked, Ginette took over and worked very hard to ensure we exchanged contracts when some of the the small print in the mortgage offer proved interesting. Both Park & Bauiley and the vendor made it a painless exercise. Thank you.

In difficult times the staff were patient and persistent and ultimately persuasive! The process was managed professionally from listing through, showings, of which there were very many; offers, a failed attempt to exchange and an ultimate successful sale.

The first and most important thing about Park and Bailey was their courtesy and professionalism. It was always 'Mrs or Mr Tanner' not Christine or Malcolm. They produced excellent property details of a very high quality. We could be completely flexible about who would do the viewings - if we were around, we would do them, but didn't feel pressured in any way to do them. Liam Jo and Alex were always glad to be of assistance, never once being rude or offhand, and we felt valued as clients.
During the exchange and completion process (which is the most stressful part as you will know), Ginette kept in touch every step of the way doing everything she could to progress the sale of our property and the purchase of our new property. In fact, we would say that she went above and beyond the call of duty, during a very difficult time when communications between us and the other parties went awry.
All in all, Park and Bailey deliver a gold standard service and I would recommend them to anyone.Was this review helpful? Yes

The sale of my property was straightforward...but Park and Bailey came into their own when it came to the conveyancing side of our purchase...without going into too much detail, if it weren't for the efforts of the Park & Bailey conveyancing team,and in particular one Ginette Brondson, the whole transaction would have collapsed at the eleventh hour...this is a professional outfit, use them with confidence.

After a previous purchase fell through, we have to say that Fine and Country have perservered through many viewings close to our wish list with us in the interim before finally finding us the perfect replacement. In the Woldingham office a special mention must go to Krystyna and Annette - so helpful and supportive never tiring of the "nearly but not quite for us" response. In the end we couldn't bring ourselves to buy through any other agent so a credit to the company.
Then Ginette at the sales progression unit made sure it was second time lucky and no hiccups - offer to exchange in well under 4 weeks shows what is possible.
If we were selling this is the only agent we would consider - truly went above and beyond.

Once my wife and I had decided that we would like to live in Warlingham we contacted several of the local agents operating in the area. It soon became very clear that Park & Bailey were head and shoulders above their rivals in terms of efficiency of staff, professionalism and the quality of property represented.
We found our property within 4 weeks of searching and, once our purchase price was agreed, our file was transferred over to their Progress Unit based in Caterham.
Our purchase proved to be quite tricky at times, however, the fantastic service we received from the Park & Bailey Progress Unit with regular update calls and helpful problem solving suggestions ensured that we finally exchanged contracts. The property had been represented by 3 separate agencies and I am sure that our purchase would have collapsed if it had not been for the excellent diligence and friendly professionalism of the Park & Bailey Progress Unit (Ginette in particular). Our vendor probably does not realize how lucky he is to have been represented so well.Was this review helpful? Yes

This sale was a result of a family bereavement and without exception, Liam and his team were the most professional, courteous and considerate agents I could have hoped for, very aware of market conditions, trends and pro-active in their advice and strategy. We had a very bad experience with another agent but Park and Bailey restored our faith in good old-fashioned customer service and professional excellence. The progress reports, throughout a long transaction, from Ginette were wonderful, she is extremely kind and efficient. I would recommend this company without any hesitation whatsoever. It was not an easy property to market but they achieved an excellent sale for me. A huge thankyou to Liam and his wonderful team!

Superb service and dedication above and beyond the call of duty. All the team in Caterham were brilliant and friendly, but special mention has to go to Ginette Bronsdon who was more like a councillor and social worker than a sales lliasion manager.

I both bought and sold a property using Fine and Country. Given that our property sold incredibly quickly I'm not sure that they could have done any better. My only concern was buying and selling with the same agent and the conflict of interest that there is no doubt that generated. Annette and Christina were both incredibly helpful as was Ginette in the After Sales Support office, despite the difficulties she encountered with the chain and some of the solicitors.

I have recently purchased a property for which Park & Bailey were the sole agents. Working closely with Bruno, Sales Manager at their office on Three Bridges Road in Crawley, I was given superb customer service throughout a fast and efficient purchase. Bruno was extremely flexible on viewing availability, punctual and very well informed regarding the property. Park & Bailey then managed effective purchase negotiations and remained close to both parties and lawyers throughout exchange and completion. I really felt they went the extra mile to ensure a smooth purchase and iron out inevitable legal delays during purchase. I would have no hesitation is saying Park & Bailey offer exceptional, caring and personal customer service with an honest and open attitude. I am a very happy customer!

Terrible service. They gave price. 3 weeks later and after only 2 viewings, they said I had the price wrong. Duly dropped it. Still no sign of a buyer. Called today for an update and told they don't want to continue. Have put no pressure on them in the last 2 months, sometimes going 2 weeks before calling. Oh well. That's the end of that then!! Off to someone a bit more proactive!!

After dealing with several estate agents in London, I have found Park and Bailey to be extremely helpful. They were not being paid by me but were more helpful than the estate agent who sold my house. Ginette was a fantastic support throughout and was extremely valuable to the process. A real asset to the company. Colin, Chris and all the office staff have been extremely helpful to. I would have no question to use these people again.

The marketing was very professional and Colin Stock's negotiating skills first class; where in a difficult market he was able to increase the final selling price significantly. I have several propertys what I rent out , I have always used Park and Bailey as they are quite well known. I recently looked at others agents for a price comparison and found that there are alot of other agents that are half the price as Park and Bailey. They do the same as Park and Bailey there is no difference. Not that I would name as I feel this is wrong I did take this up with P&B, I was told they offer a better client service than most other agents. I found this a fob off as there is only one type of service and Park and Bailey do not do nosilver service compared to anywhere else. When I adviced that I was to go with another agent the staff was totally rude and ignorant towards me which I found quite funny as for the last few years I have over payed them compared to other agents and they should be grateful for that. So angry with them it is untrue. Be careful and make sure you get more advice when letting.

The staff at the Warlingham office provided a very professional service from the initial instruction through to the viewings . My house sold within two days of going on to the market and at almost the asking price. Afterwards Ginette in the Sales Progression section kept me fully informed of progress and also offered advice and support when requried. Park & Bailey have a good reputation locally & I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others thinking of putting their property on the market.

Most impressed with the helpfulness of Gill of Coulsdon branch and especially Ginnette of sales progression team with continuous updating of how a difficult chain was progressing. After 6 months of sofa surfing I'm no longer going to be n.f.a.. Whoopee!

I felt that the agents went out of thier way to help me find a house at a time when property in the area was in short supply. I also appreciate the fact that they did not go in for lots of hard sell and respected my top offers on houses without trying to push mortgages/extra borrowing onto me.

Excellent estate agents from start to finish, i had an extremely difficult buyer who let me down, the team at Park and Bailey kept me up to date throughout and pursued the sale of my property finally finding me a successful buyer.

A good experience. The people that came around to value the house had a good knowledge of property prices and how the house could best be marketed - a marked contrast to the other two agents who came round, who seemed to be rather disinterested. Throughout the sales process I was always kept up to date and the team worked very hard to make sure that everything ran smoothly.

We have used P & B for renting a property and also we have just bought a property through them. I must say the level commitment and professionalism to help us secure our purchase was fantastic. We were in a position where we had to get a few quotes done on maintenance work required on the property to see if we can afford it. Alex (Caterham Hill) and Ginette (Sales liaison Manager) helped us every step of the way to book in various tradesmen in with the vendor, to help get the quotes. At one point we lost the sale and they helped to re-establish the negotiations and secure the purchase.

P&B were excellent. Ginette and Colin were on hand at all times to complete a sale that was complex to say the least. Without their professionalism I am sure the sale would not have gone through. I would definitely recommend Park & Bailey.

Through an extremely difficult probate settlement and dealing with one equally difficult potential buyer (who wasted months!) Park & Bailey were courteous, responsive and pro-active. I dealt with Park & Bailey both buying and selling a few years ago and found their service second to none so when it came time to sell my maisonette I immediately thought of them. Being a leasehold property it was not without its complexities and with a long chain things were quite stressful. Throughout the entire process Park & Bailey were on hand to help, even in bits that didn't necessarily relate to them. Always available, always returned messages promptly, explained everything clearly on what was happening. Days away from exchange my buyer unexpectedly pulled out and Park & Bailey worked all hours over the following week including evenings and weekends to reassure my buyer back into the chain. Thanks to their support I was in my new home in time for Xmas which I genuinely don't think would have happened without their efforts keeping everyone on track. I would without doubt use them again for any sale.

A real lack of kind of service from them, just ordinary. There are lots of agents in the area that will do better job. They also refuse to say thank you for the business/income ever. Call if rude if you want. Will never use them again. And will do my upmost to ensure none of my clients/friends do either.

Very un-proactive, never phoned us, poor marketing, bad photos, wrote most of particulars myself, and worst of all....3 viewings in 12 weeks, all time wasters.

 impartial advice, and dealt effectively with the other parties to ensure successful closure of the deal. In terms of the progression to contract exchange, this property chain wasn\'t straightforward, and the issues with the house I was purchasing were not straightforward; Ginette was highly proactive and great at providing balanced views which helped the transaction to make progress. This was despite the fact that Ginette in theory did not have to get involved in my house purchase (only in the sale), yet she went out of her way to assist. In the Woldingham office a special mention must go to Krystyna and Annette - so helpful and supportive never tiring of the "nearly but not quite for us" response. In the end we couldn't bring ourselves to buy through any other agent so a credit to the company.
Then Ginette at the sales progression unit made sure it was second time lucky and no hiccups - offer to exchange in well under 4 weeks shows what is possible.
